Was very good today works well with pav
Conversion seems to let him down
wouldnt surprise me if farmer gets more goals then last year or equal it crumbing under Pav, Tarrant and the 3rd/4th tall (Cambell, Murphy, Longmuir, Sandilands etc)
Our foward line with farmer in it will be unstoppable

Was very good today but his conversion let him down
if we can get murphy or cambell fireing then we could just use him as a decoy foward either way it looks good

Thought Tarrant was decent.. he's getting his hands on the ball and taking some strong marks. Just get the kicking coach out to him... or something. One of the commentators said he did 5 helicopter kicks in a row before the match....

No one would be surprised to learn his shooting for goal is inconsistant. It's the other stuff that he does that was much better this week than last week. Some hard stuff even. And he's definitely making life a little bit easier for Pav.

One thing I've been impressed with is his attack on the opposition when we don't have the ball. He's a lot harder at the man than I gave him credit for.

Agreed, I vaguely remember Pies supporters extolling his defensive virtues but I never really believed them. Couple his pressure with the Wiz back and we might see a few more of the lock-ins that we really need.

With Farmer back in the side, it's gonna be amazingly powerful, some big scores coming our way, and with excellent delivery from Black, Headland and co watch out competition. When Tarrant finally gets his kicking right he will be so dangerous, I agree, his foward pressure and dedication is unmatched in our fowardline (until Farmer's back at least)

Often last year without Pav leading to the wing we would meet a brick wall at HF. Now with Tarrant occasionally taking that role we are penetrating deep into our forwardline more often.

His defensive pressure is great. Its better than Pav's. Both Tarrant and Solomon anticipate the passage of play and attack the reciever instead of the ball carrier. When Farmer comes back into the team i can see us reaching new heights in terms of tackling inside our forward 50.

The Tarrant and Pavlich show is definately becoming just that.

I love the guy and reckon it could have been one of the best trades this club has done. The guy just makes the forward line seem so fluent and seeing him lead up the ground should put a smile on any Freo fans face.

It seems when he kicks quickly he is great but when he thinks about it he is terrible for eg.snap goal on the run the other week and the little chip kick to Haze(i think) great vision and kick.

He was quiet in the derby, but has been a good acquisition so far. I don't think his kicking for goal will get any better though, I'm sure he has spent hundreds of hours practising. From memory Tarrant and Solomon combined for 2 goals, 4 behinds and an out on the full yesterday.
