Tate to leave Warriors


Never really got to see the best of him.

League centre Brent Tate is quitting the New Zealand Warriors at the end of this season.

The club announced this afternoon that Tate had signed a three-year deal to play for the North Queensland Cowboys from the end of this season.

Its a pity he copped all those injuries because he's a really good player.

Have to say its a bit of a risk by the Cowboys to take him on and hopefully for his sake, he stays injury free until his career if finished.
