I've forgotten to let you all know (assuming you're even mildly interested :) ) that I got a tattoo when I was in Adelaide.

I'd been intending to get one for a while (so, no I wasn't drunk!), but I wanted it in a fairly inconspicuous place, that wouldn't go saggy when I'm old!

So my tattoo is of a blue flower with green leaves, which extends across the top of my foot (near my toes - from my middle toe to the little toe).

Does anyone else have a tattoo? If so, what is it?
 
wiked sounds very interesting getting one there! I want one on the um...t!t lol or lower back near my butt! Just not sure what to get done really. Was thinking of a ~47~ or just an AFL logo maybe :confused: I don't know much about tattoos as i am more of a piercing girl so does anyone have any info like good places to get it done and what the average price would be?
 
My friend got one on the middle of her lower back (very low, near her butt). It is a tribal butterfly. That cost her $100. Mine cost $70. Pretty cheap, I think?!! We just went to a place that looked the cleanest in Hindley St (Macca then told us that we chose the wrong place, but it was close to where we were staying, and we haven't had any problems. We made sure that everything used was properly cleaned and sterilised). The only worry was the tattooist himself - he looked pretty rough and spoke very rough. For eg. he said that if I fainted he was going to have sex with me - that kept me awake, let me tell you! He also asked if I was into bondage, and I though "sh1t, he's propositioning me", so I said no, and then he said that I should be because I can handle pain very well!

My friend has also got a cartoon bomber tattoo on her hip. She got that at a place in Lilydale. A good place to go to is called Splash of Colour in Union Rd. Ascot Vale. My ex got his Essendon tattoo there, for about $100, and I got my belly button pierced there. A lot of footballers, including a few Essendon (I think Ricky was one of them) and North Melbourne, got their premiership tattoos there.
 
waaaaaat RiCkY got his there..IM THERE :D hmmm who knos might even get the same needle that had been in some of the Roo boys butts!

U poor thing getting a creep like that i woulda smacked him out i think ah well i guess they r all a bit on the weird side because even at the piercing places u get ones that barely have a spot left on them to pierce!

Yeah....thats why i said you shouldnt of gone there...cos the tattooist looks like the sort of person you just agree on everything with otherwise he'll either: a) clock you one b) kill you...or in kristins case c) wanna rape you!

I cant believe he would say that tho haha....thats just.....wrong!!!
 
I have a Bomber Tatt on my back just below my right shoulder, the most important thing before getting one, is make sure you go to one who other people have recommended as being very clean.

I think you will find that the majority of tattooists are bikies, hence their rough appearance, but most are really nice & I think you will find he was saying these things as a joke, to try & put you at ease to overcome any nervousness you may have had about getting the Tatt.

The guy who did my Tatt was like that, he had me laughing at all his stories about how the bigger bikies were the ones who usually fainted, while women seem to handle it well.

Oops forgot, mine cost $100, but that was 4 years ago.
 
I got a really angry Kangaroo breaking through a banner on my ar, sorta looks like his coming out of my skin, it looks pretty good, got it last year on my shoulder, set me back $180
 
LOL Yeah kristin I remember seeing your tattoo!!!! Sittin there as this foot pokes up on the chair next to me 'check out my tatt!!!!' lol ;) I really like it tho. :D

I want a lil blue star, have to choose a spot tho, in my line of work I can't really have a tattoo showing!!!!! Well I can but then I have to explain to the kids why THEY shouldn't have one!!!!!! Not worth the hassle, lol.
 
i am getting one during one of my trips to melbourne this year (or when i move over, which ever happens first) and yeah its gonna be a star on the small of my back with a little design thingo around it. and when melbourne win the premiership..................there'll be a demon on my tattoo. :D (might be waiting awhile for that one tho. LOL)

LOL we can get one together when I turn 18, lets bloody hope they win a premiership by than! :o :(
 
I bet Loz/karl/g4e etc never gets a footy tattoo, he would have to get the previous team he supported removed when he switched teams. :D

I want one but i dont know what or where?? Some in chinese or japanese writing...thats pretty cool! A guy in the NBA has blood,sweat and tears written down his upper arm in chinese, looke very cool.

By the way, I'll get a Hawk somewhere (obviously where no one can see it, well, almost no one;)) when they win their first flag after I'm 18. I'll get a Hawk with all the years of our premierships underneath, so I can keep a tally. :D

Yes i do luv my club to death BUT when i come home with a tattoo of a demon my mum will go "Why the hell did u get that done for?" and if i get it down after the flag, well then ill have an excuse. "Cos we won the flag." :D otherwise if i dont have an excuse she'll kill me :( :p
 
Well, I want a tattoo, but I don't know what and where to get one. I want to show it off but I also want to be able to hide if the need be. There's that bloody Libra indecision again.
 
Yeah mantis, I'd love a tiger tatt however whether I go through with it or not is another question! I'm a wimp for pain.

As for you Uncie Brett ... if you can get one so can I, afterall you're a good boy too :eek: ;) .
