Say you won Tattslotto, what is the one thing you would do to help the MFC out of its dire financial troubles ??

For myself, of course depending on the amount won, I would purchase the Hilton Hotel and turn it into a MFC social club:D :p

Would love your ideas.

interesting question........

Well normally whenever dad buys tattslotto, i contribute by giving a few numbers (footy numbers that is) and i always tell him that if we win a good amount im giving a couple of millions to Melbourne; knowing we wont win and that it wont happen he just nods and agrees.... would love to see what would happen if we did actually win!
I would probably also sponsor the new players, and invest in better facilities, especially down at Sandy (yuck.... they are shocking).

Okay for example if I won the 23 millions on Dec 29, outright I would give at least 8 million to the Brisbane Lions, but I would want a life membership if I was to give them that amount. 2-3 million to the saints and the rest would go towards a around the world cruise for myself and Shattsy. I would be thinkin the QE II.

I'd consider it. But I have more priorities than MFC in my life. As I always got look after number one first, ME.

well... depending on how much i got... probs i'd give 1/4 of it to the mfc to do with it as they wish (aslong as it benefits the CLUB/TEAM)... i reckon that asking for a life membership with it would actually be a really good idea too! :)
hrm, i'd probs sponcer a player too... and... dunno, take woey or breese our for dinner???:rolleyes: ;) :eek: :confused:
but yeah, i'd DEFF give some to the club!!

All I am saying is you have got to treat yourself. Look after number one. If Melbourne is number one for you, that is quite sad, but if it is then help them. I'm just getting my priorities in order.

see, thats why none of us have said we'd give it aaaalllll to MFC or to our preffered club. however we would give a part of it to them, and yeas, MFC does play a very large role in my life.

ok well dependin on how much i won. i dont know if the footy club would get any.

1st of all I'd move to melbourne, get a nice house, arsy car (SAAB or Porsche) maybe get a job. (but if i had enough moolah i wouldnt have to work ;) )

i would defiantely upgrade my membership and if i could get a decent player to sponsor, i'd sponsor them. But thats all. I wouldnt build em bloody social clubs etc. Thats a waste of money.

I dunno if I'd give any of the money to the MFC. For some reason, people who give them large amounts of money end up getting stabbed in the back.

(If anybody objects to this, its just a joke for crying out loud!)

LOL! that is pretty funny :D (yet sad at the same time!)

I would defenetly sponsor a few players, even players who already had sponsors (can you do that??). I would buy lots of memrobilia and have this one room (in my new 30 rooms mantion :D) full of Melbourne stuff. Ohhh that would be my dream! :)

theres players sponsors and now there r player supporters. so yeah u could do it. neing a player supporter is cheaper than a sponsor. Therefore u could have a couple more ;)

Could you image sponsoring the whole team and having them come to a private function of your choice (that is one of the things you get in the package).... that would be one very happy bridal night for me! :o ;) :p

LOL, why did i write bridal? i think its coz i was doing all this stuff for my auntie's website thing that she is doing of her wedding! (dont ask.... i didnt either! :o).
Well Robbo wont be there but its ok coz i'll have him for the rest of my life! :D (oh poor thing he'll be all alone....... :()
 
By the way...........

The social club would be for all the supporters who have missed out on being together for all those years.....that's the main reason Melb. can't draw together...there are too many cliques.,..even among the players:rolleyes:

oh i have so noticed that.....there r little groups...thats sad. really sad. So much for team unity. But actually it has always been like that.

How else are they meant to do it? There are not the facilities at the MCG that allow for it to take place.
