Will he play exclusively as a backman throughout his career.
I know its enormous call but if he can put on some bulk, I can see abit of Pavlich in him in a way?

I like the possible Pavlich comparison; similar size; plus the possibility of him moving into the centre square as a pinch hitting ruck rover type of role; shifting forward at times. He has done this effectively in the WAFL, and I think this role could suit him with Egan due to come back next year.

Plus hes a good bloke to boot, confident as well.

Great character, great player. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Inspired and courageous choice by Wells. Not many clubs would take a 21 year old with their first round pick.

Wells was interviewed during the U18 finals by SEN. He said that the Catters had picked him as they suspected/knew they might be without Egan this year.

Finey suggested that he have a run at Buddy this week. I can't see any harm in it, in fact at the very least it would be good for his development, plus I think there's a good chance that he will actually restrict Buddy pretty well.

harry has been great there surly be a spot/role for him when egan comes back.ln saying that it could be middle of next season till we see matty egan in top form again lets hope sooner rather than later harry could still play role down back slot in up forward or even play wing ala richo

Taylor is a brilliant pick up, will play a lot of games for the cats will eventually team up with Ego as our two key defenders. Dash will probably finish next year and possibly Harley as well. Good grooming.

Why would they finish next year? They both still appear to be fit and healthy.

Egan can handle the big strong CHF players like Cloke and Pavelich that lighter built players like Harry would struggle against. Egan, when he is fit, will have no problems slotting back into the side.

True enough. Harry does have a pretty light frame at the moment and isn't quite ready to match it one on one with the bigger blokes.

Still, can't complain about his progress at all.

I dont see why they would finish next year either, Harley is looking good and Dasher is still Mr Reliable.

Having said that I can see a spot for Egan and Taylor in the team in the next few years as out back line, especially the KP posts, are the oldest part of our team. Hopefully we can get NAB back. So our spine in 5 years looks like, Taylor - Egan - Ruck - Hawkins - NAB.

How good was the 30 second passage of play in the 3rd. Block the handball, takes it and casually trots to the 50 for a goal. After the bounce the dogs go forward and against 3 guys grabs the ball with one hand, fends off with the other slams it around his body onto Jimmy's chest. Class.

He blocked the Kick!!!

I thought he got found out a little against Tarrant, but also has been very good for much of the year. Just a bit more strength and he'll be awesome

Tarrant's goals weren't exactly setting the world alight - IIRC they were predominantly junk time and occurred where our defenders had run hard forward but got caught out of position when Freo managed to effect a turnover, hence harry being caught out of position.

I had thought Harley had said that one more year would see him out.

I'd be fairly surprised if Dash goes on past next year too, at least with us.

Both will be excellent coaches in the future, they'll walk into jobs elsewhere: perfect coaching credentials each of them.

Could anyone tell me where I can get hold of the footage of harry taylor juggling 3 balls up against the wall in a night game earlier this year.It was awesome and my work mates missed it.

Harley won't coach, he has got senior administration all over him. Future CEO

Fair pick up mate. I could see him in that role too.

I think he'll pretty much have his choice of roles after footy. He'd be a terrific media manager too, although his talents would be wasted in that sort of role in the long term. His interview after the Freo game was I thought very impressive.
