Not that hard - Freo basically said that they'll draft him if he's there at #17 without hesitation or any desire to play cagey, and it's believed that Geelong feel much the same at #16, so his leg is only bad enough to have him slide to there.

Just made a bit of a change. I moved Garlett out of the top 30. Put Stringer in at 15 for North Melbourne, and gave Garner to Collingwood at 21.

I may yet try and find a new home for Simpson, so I can accommodate a KPP for Freo. Not 100% convinced that I have Collingwood's selections right either. I think they should be happy with what they are getting, but it seems a little uninspired now that Garlett is out. There will probably be at least one or two more changes before draft day.

I think you're doing alright for Collingwood - We get a KP, which is needed, a pacy midfielder, which is needed, and Taylor Garner, who has shown the kind of mercurial nature that Hine has traditionally been drawn to (Dale Thomas, Steele Sidebottom and Alex Fasolo for example).

Garner in particular is one who hasn't been spoken about much on the Collingwood board, but that I could see being high on our wishlist should he be available on Thursday night.

LOL. I was tempted to get him in the top 10, but I went more along with consensus. Plus, I would love to see him at Geelong and it just feels like a good fit for that club.

Absolutely it's a chance. I would love it to happen, but I still have him being drafted from around 9-23. So 16 is pretty much smack in the middle of that range, and I do like the thought of him going at 16 to Geelong. It's all speculation really, and much can depend on how the first few picks fall on the night.
