Well, imo, White will grow as a forward. He's a little like Joshua Kennedy for the socceroos. He provides a tall forward option and makes the opposition worry a little, then TDL comes in and picks up the scraps. I think they could prove to be a good match, but then again I'm no expert.

TDL is a great addition to our team for such a small build he sure knows how to take some big marks and lay good tackles, his goal kicking has been top notch so far.

Capitalising on Armfield's brain explosion was one thing (the poor sod will be replaying that in his head for a LONG time), but slotting the goal was crucial. Great find and really nice to see the kids getting the job done today. Every extra final from now on is a bonus (and I think we're a chance against the dogs), but what great experience for them.

Holy shit this kid was amazing today. Has he even played 10 games of afl? To stand up and kick 4 in such a tight, tough game and lay the tackle that won us the game. Couldn't be prouder.

His kicking for goal is textbook - he keeps it so low

The thing i find quite amazing about TDL is how he almost quietly accumulates goals. Its almost possible to forget about him playing and then you look at the score board at the end of the game and find out he kicked 4 goals.

I also love his accuracy as it is a huge asset to have a forward who can have 5 shots on goal and will regularly kick 4 goals out of those 5 shots.

how i love this bloke, a deadset gun!

he is one of the best readers of the flight for a forward in his first season that i have seen. is pretty much the complete package for a forward of his age, great contested mark, can crumb, dead accurate kick, great pressure, and doesnt get shrugged off in his tackling (which is awesome considering how light he is). jesse provides a great side kick to him.

if he continues on in this form, then it will only benefit the team. great drafting again by the swannies.
