I knight thee, Sir Trent.

With Michael O'Loughlin's winner against WC, Leo's Mark, Davis's Goal, Hall's after-siren goal against Brisbane and a host of small other moments (Jack's tackle on Brent Harvey a few years ago)...this is so up there. I've watched the replay of it on Youtube 10x, and the last quarter of that game 3x.

To answer someone above, he's nowhere near as good as Hannebury. Let's be reasonable. TDL has played 7 games for a reason. He hasn't been doing it in reserves. But gosh has he picked the right time to play. I think he benefits hugely from Jesse White playing beside him. Jessie White surely draws attention, thats the only reason I can imagine why he fails at marking this year. TDL takes a bunch of forward marks uncontested.

He's awesome. And he's from Perth too. The more Non-Victorian's we pick up, the better. As we've seen. Victorians get homesick moreso than Inter-State players (mainly because QLDers only have the 1 team to return to, and South Australians and West Australians with 2).

I fear in the future that some Victorian team is going to offer Hannebury $600'000 a year, and he'll take it.

You mean earlier this year? Or his tackle on Riewoldt last year?

Actually, he has, he was injured at the start of the year, and had a shakey debut, but has generally been kicking large bags in the Ressies. White fails at marking because he has soft hands at the moment. Watch him and you'll see he's not making them stick, no matter what sort of attention he attracts.

That's why he re-signed this year when he could have had a huge pay rise at the GC.

I would correct that to say hard hands actually.

Hard hands would be saying he drops marks though.

He does drop marks... (I am sure that is what Stat was saying too?)

At this stage drops far too many marks to be a key forward across he his career. Is still young though... plenty of time.

I think it was that game where we had 19 players on the field. It was one of Jack's first games.

I don't really like Brent Harvey (because of his smug celebration at the end of Victoria v Dream Team game) and he tried to take Jack on. We had the channel 7 commentary, as opposed to the foxtel one, and he like saw Jack, half stopped, and then tried to step him. Jack was with him like a shadow and just put him on the ground. It was like the first time the commentators said "I think Gary would be proud of that one!"

Haha. They were rebounding, so it was massive. I went nuts. I wish it was on Youtube.
