What have you learnt??
Don't trade on bigfooty hype and one good performance. Consistencey is the key to dream team in all aspects, trading, captain selection, cash cowing and dont get pressured into trading after having a down week or seeing others get big scores, you're time will come. but also dont leave trades too late try have your team set by round 12.

I think the biggest thing, IS if you see a regular player on the bench i.e Gia for round 1, doesn't matter because they end up starting on the field, Coaches are playing mind games so don't take it too seriously.

Lockyer - same hype last year thought he may have a few hundred games but not enough and average about 75 not good enough for me.

Bench for 2-3 weeks..... trade in a cash cow before his fully peaked (round 5-6) bring in a fallen premium ie Mackie.

Gilbert is an interesting one, but that wasn't the point.
The point is that rookie-pricers can pick up the slack in the mids and fwds, but in the backs and rucks really can't. The lesson I learnt from everyone else having Raines was stick to premiums, or at least midpricers (sort of) with other options around them like Malceski and Adcock (have McPhee, Birchall etc. close in price).
