Firstly, to all those people that will not renew their memberships next year, GO & FOLLOW RICHMOND YOU WEAK ASSCLOWNS!! Support our great football club, not an individual who has constantly let the club down & embarrassed it to the point where they had to offload him. I applaud Sticks & our board for having the testicles to get rid of him & hopefully make our future look alot brighter without the buffoon. We should get behind the team, Lachie Henderson & be POSITIVE! Im sick of these people bagging our great club because they made a tough, but correct decision. Good on you Sticks, the majority are behind you!:thumbsu:

First off I don't understand everyone toasting Fevola for all he has done. He has single handily set our club back several years. We tried to deal with him and his rubbish behavior for year after year.

Finally when we are a chance to get back in the top 4 and have a run at the Premiership he does all this further crap. I for one will not thank Brendon Fevola. Brendon needs to apologize to all the Carlton Supporters / Managers / Coaches etc who put up with him. He is not a "TEAM" player, Football is a team sport.

I couldn't agree more with the people on the board saying no player is above the team. Fevola always thought he was and I for one hope he never wins a Premiership and we do and he regrets his actions.

Sadly this is a 29 year old man who is at the maturity level of a 12 year old. I couldn't really care less if he changes his act or not now and the reason why is HE DOESN'T PLAY AT CARLTON.

If you don't play at Carlton why would you can anymore? He's gone deal with it, I have. Anyone who is going to rip up their membership can do so and go to Brisbane. I'm sick of toasting this baboon.

Get stuffed and CARN THE *****ING BLUES!!!!

Do you have to whinge about everything? Just suck it up and move on. Believe it or not Brendan has been a great servant to Carlton, regardless of all the stupid shit he has done that has not allowed him back to the club. He is someone we could rely on to be out on the park week in week out, bad body language and all.

Yes Brendon f##ed up, yes he embarrased himself and the Carlton Football club, but NO ONE and I mean NO ONE can argue the fact he was a superstar player who loved the club. He was there when we were a rabble, knocked back offers from other clubs when we were a rabble and stayed loyal to the blues. So I for one will not bag him, nor will I boo him. I loved him as a Carlton player and I will not forget what he has done for this club. I only hope he sorts his life out and becomes a better person out of all this.

Good to see Fev is still saying sorry, and the Lions like us believing him. I have no respect for Fev, he might be a champion footballer. But in life that's not very important in the scheme of things.

Fevola wasn't even handed the gun that he used to shoot himself. He went down the street, got it himself and unloaded.

Carlton just prepared the funeral.

Fevola always would say the right things when he had to. Just would not follow through with his actions. Good luck to him in the future. He will be good for a year or 2 until an injury, player dispute, relationship breakdown occurs and then he will repeat his poor behaviour again.

Believe it or not Brendan has been a great servant to Carlton.

Where does this falicy come from?

Seems people only like to remember the last 2-3 years and then only the good bits.

He's not been a great servant of the club, far from it.

He's been lazy, shown a terrible attitude on and off the ground , displayed a totally unproffesional manner at times all through out his career.

Jarrad Waite is around the same age bracket of Fevola and gone through the same dark periods of bad teams Fevola has.

Waite HAS been a great servant of our club in that time, unlike Fevola.

If you compare the two players track records and attitudes while at the club they are absolutely chalk and cheese.

Fevola lost me the day I saw his dummy spit in a reserves game and the attitude he showed to a team mate through his actions.

Fevola was a servant to his own persnal whims, not to our football club.

well put. what he said:thumbsu: go blues 2010

Harsh thylacine.

Even Tony Robbins couldn't get through to Fevola.

Carey loved North too.

Every bit of North to be precise.

How many B & F's did Fevola win if he loved playing football? ;)

Fevola was capable of much, much more.

If Fevola truly loved the club, why didn't he change and develop into a professional footballer?

Even Judd couldn't inspire Fevola to change.

Maclure and other past greats couldn't stand Fevola being around the club.

Fevola looked smug in the photo on the front of The Age's Sport section.

All Fevola had to do was sit in his car in Visy Park's carpark with a Brisbane jumper to show his true colours.

Voss aims high, gets his man

"I think a realistic goal is the top four and from there you give yourself a massive opportunity to win a grand final," Fevola said. "I want to play to win premierships.

"I think most people at the Lions, and all the other clubs for that matter, want to win premierships. This is a great club. It has won three (grand) finals this decade and has a great group.

"They have traded as though they want to win a flag. I didn't want to go to a team that wasn't going to make the eight.

"I wanted to go to a team I thought had a crack at winning the premiership and I think Brisbane is that team."

Voss aims high, gets his man
I will not forget what he has done for this club.
Handed us Lachlan Henderson and pick 12. :thumbsu:

Those that wanted him gone have got their wish.

His punishment has been handed to him. Perhaps his ultimate punishment will be watching our boys hold up the cup in a few years time, while that goal eludes him.

No need to kick a man when he is down so to speak, and those willing to do so should perhaps not comment on the character of another.

Of course we should be toasting his time our our club - if you don't want to, turn a blind eye, and toast the new recruits instead.

Do you ever start threads of your own or do you just check out what other's post then bag them. I am allowed to voice my opinion the great beauty of having a forum. I will watch to see if you start a thread then I will just make pointless comments towards whatever you say.

It's great having someone on the park giving half arsed efforts if everything doesn't fall his way. It's great for young players watching to see bad body language and sulking when things don't go your way. Maybe Fev should be a motivational speaker as well champ

I get that you are pissed off, and i'll only talk for myself, but following the dark ages he has been one of the shining lights, he has put up with a crap team for 8 of the last 10 years, and has carried us through the mud. I'm not thanking him for being a great bloke (which when not drunk, he is) i'm thanking him for sticking by the club and leaving me with plenty of memories. He didn't walk out on us. Just because he made a fool of himself, doesn't mean it is his fault that he is in a Brisbane Guernsey.

Well said. Given our culture should now improve massively I assume we are expecting that we will win more games than last year.

Here it is, last line but I knew weeks ago it was coming.

''I've got to earn a lot of trust, particularly from 'Vossy' [coach Michael Voss] and the players.''

http://www.theage.com.au/news/rfnews/new-claim-against-fevola/2009/10/09/1255019612832.html

How pathetically predictable.

And what exactly would you have him say? Yes he's said it before and stuffed up but there's not much else he can say in that situation.

There's always been a faction of the Carlton board that wanted him gone. After every indiscretion, I'm guessing that faction grew or at the very least got louder. It was the board that saw him gone and not some ridiculous rumours about contracted players giving the club ultimatums.

Easy enough telling the teacher to **** himself on the last day of school. This Mathieson slob ever confront Fev while he was still contracted? He had a decade to do it. Bonehead...

Strong words to call Fevola a cancer. Pokie machines are in many ways a cancer on society. Guess where Mathieson has made his Billions.
