I knew Jones would be out, but does anyone know whats wrong with Chicky's foot???

it's rooted as per usual.

i like those Ins for us. wirra played well in the WAFL last week and i'm hoping he gets a run up forward. josh gets alother chance to prove himself (although it could be his last).

more injuries, chick plays his best game and next week out, could have done with morrison or adkins as the out not chick:( ;) ;) ;)

why aren't Staker and Waters playing, while R.Jones and Adkins are? its Ridiculous

I'm glad wirra's back in the team, hope he plays as well as he did for West Perth. Dissappointed Staker didn't get a game though he is travelling over there so there's still a chance.
Its a shame bout Chicky's foot too, he's just started playing in form...
:(
At least we're playing on a big field this week, should be to our advantage.

I dont like it....Morrison and Hunter in the backline, despite both playing quite well last weekend still have plenty to prove IMO. Would much rather have had Chick and Brett Jones in the backline. Both are big losses.

Wirrpunda straight back in though is good as is the return of Wooden as Im a fan of Pinnochio. We look small??

Anybody got Hawthorns lineup?

Yeah! blokes over 20 have nothing to offer the team anymore!

I didn't mean it like that, Staker has been our only rising star nominee, and from what i have seen of Waters he would fit into our side nicely. And Adkins has been in **** AFL form this year (has played alright in the WAFL though) and R.Jones has done **** all this year, nothing like he was last year.

I dont think it will be his last... having seen him in the pre-season and scratchies... he looked VERY VERY good in the midfield... he was a standout player... then did his shoulder in that pre-season..... now he has been back in the wAFL and burning up there.... I sensed Wooden was really coming of age this year and was looking forward to seeing him play... shame he got injured. I know the Eagles really rate him.

mmmm

Jones and Chick both played in defence last week.

Wooden and Wirra are more suited to midfield.

I think I may have preferred Collica or Green in there.

Jod, I thought Hunter was great last week and he was good all last season. Morrisson played well last week too. I'm happy with them.

How many games in their combined careers do you reckon these two have actually played in the midfield?

Hunter was great last season but after his terrible start to the year and the emergence of kids like B.Jones and Nicoski in the backline I suddenly lost my faith in Hunter. But he played great against Geelong and again playing very well against Hawthorn so my faith is returning.

As for Morrison, he has been pretty poor since returning from back to back knees but again his last two games have been really good too so perhaps Morrison is finally finding the form that made him one of our best young guns nearly 4 years ago...
