And should Draga have been given more time to settle down in the seniors? Still no sign of Hilton!

Not a bad lineup - except Gaspar, it is our full strength team and they all look to be in theri best positions

If we can't win this week, we never will !!

And i don't think we will be seeing anymore of Rory's columns on the rfc website, he is gone.....

No surprise about Hilton, had umpteen chances this season to impose himself and failed every time. Was probably kept in the side 4-6 weeks longer then he deserved, due to a combination of injuries and the coaching committee giving him an extended run to see whether he had what it takes. As it turned out he hasn't, and he'll almost certainly be delisted/traded at the end of the season.

Back to the game, I've felt increasingly confident about this game during the week - not particularly sure why, I guess we're due to win at some stage.

And Blumfield is a wildcard - he was starting to make his first significant impact in the Saints game before he was injured - he could be an invaluable addition to the Richmond forward line.

I hate the team.

Why isnt Bowden up forawrd? Why isnt Newman on the wing? Why doesnt Hyde get a full game? Why is Richardson Full Forward and not Center Half Forward? Why is Biddescombe playing?

I'm thinking they'll try and outfox the opposition and won't line up exactly as named. ;)

Looks Good on Paper

Looks almost full strength - should win.

I'm starting to hate Bowden though - his insipid efforts this year really make me cringe. I can't believe he gets voted in our best players. Soft As - I'd rather have Duncan in there - Bowden should be in the 2s.

How did Bowden go against the Crows? (I was away - didn't see the game) I know his effort against the Lions was an embarrasment but before then his form has been OK - certainly a lot better than in recent years.

Still, it is hard to believe that a player who should be Top 10 in the league doesn't even make it into our top 6!!!! While he is overvalued by the football world at large, we should cut our losses and trade at year's end.

Watch the Brisbane game but put Brisbane in Adelaide colours. Thats how good Bowden was. He gets the posessions though (1st @ Rich)

Hyde should have stayed when he got an extended run in the last quarter at least he showed something.

Rogers had to be axed in my opinion is well and truly gone I don't think he has anything left to offer the team.

Please this week leave Krakouer and Rodan on the ground for extended periods if they are both going to be played as crumbing forwards give them a chance to get into the game.

Spud

This is exactly what ****s me about Frawley. There's a kid like Hyde who has never been given a decent run in the one's to prove his worth, but Frawley favours the option of saving his job by continually rewarding the likes of Houlihan, Biddiscombe, Bowden, Fiora, Rogers, etc, who have had their chances time and time again to prove something but just will not make it.

Get it through that shut off brain of yours Danny, and don't use the excuse that there is no one else to put in the team because that is the weakest excuse any coach could offer, some players like the ones I've mentioned will never be first-rate senior footballers. So if you are committed to the future of this club, start perservering with the youngsters. Look at what happened with Coughlan, Newman, and Zantuck once you gave them a go. They are putting other regular senior players to shame by showing how hard and committed they are at the ball.
