REJOICE MY FRIENDS, REJOICE.

(wtf is hyde doing there ... oh well, at least 2 of the duds have been dropped).

:thumbsu:Like most of it. Especially the Tivendale/Pettifer part.
Hyde no chance.
But the inclusion of Jackson. Didn't see that coming and not sure it's warranted.
The rest...the INs of Riewoldt and Morton...bravo!

If Chris Hyde gets a game ahead of Rance or any of the youngsters then it's official....
Wallace needs to be removed ASAP.

McMahon not even demoted to the interchange. Hyde FFS. The interchange should be (not necessarily will be) Polo, Rance, JON and Bowden/Schulz

Looks like Morton, Riewoldt and Jackson are assured a game.

Interesting extended interchange. You would think with that backline, Schultz or Rance HAS to play.

I would have think Bowden would be spared this week as he has been one of our better players the last couple of weeks

Edwards might be rested/droped

I really would love Polo and JON to get a game but I reckon Chris Hyde will probably get one

Lets do it systematically. If you're named on the field you're pretty much guaranteed a gig. So Jackson, Morton and Riewoldt will be ins. Schulz is not going to be dropped, his form doesn't warrant it. Hyde will not play, especially with Jackson in the team. Bowden will play, he has done enough. Edwards has not done enough, but he MAY stay. That leaves two more spots on the bench for either Rance, Polo or JON, or maybe Edwards.

I agree with most of that logic

Probably 2 of Rance, Polo, JON and Edwards get a game

Kinda hope Schultz gets dropped though and 3 of them get a gig. Schultz was pretty ordinary last week

I can't believe this I see the outs and am pretty happy about them, except for thursfield, see rance is in and the younger guys.
Then I see ____ing Chris Hyde's name on the extended interchange, whats worse is he will probably play:rolleyes:

Really excited about seing Rance.

No way in hell Hyde will play. he played a shocker at the burgers last week.

I thought Jacko played well at Coburg ditto JON but maybe JON 's turn is another week.

I reckon Jack, rance, morton and Jacko in.

So edwards Schulz hyde and polo to get chopped from that line up

For mine, Hyde isn't in the same category as Tivendale and Pettifer. He's no downhill skier, he actually goes for some hard ball. Whilst I don't believe he is in our best 22, or even close, I don't believe that he should "never be allowed to pull on a Tigers jumper again" as some have suggested.

Also, has anyone else noticed how every week, our team is always one of the first 2 or 3 named?

That backline couldn't stop a divy 4 reserves team. :(

Spot on. Melbourne just have to get the ball in quickly and the onset of panic passed between our defenders will be enough to guarantee several goals and more turnovers.

How the hell does Polak justify a spot back there? Is TW planning on playing him as a loose man again?

And the spin about players not doing a preseason continues to stink. Looking at that backline you can't tell me Connors can't get a gig on a half back flank ahead of both McMahon and Jackson.

I don't even want to talk about Hyde. With Tuck and Schultz in the side two duds are enough.

Meanwhile... Wheres the steamer? I would have thought he would have at least been in the squad this week.

If Hyde isn't selected in the team I wouldn't be suprised if he doesn't play for Coburg on Saturday incase one our blokes get injured before our Sunday match

God, taking a closer look and gee whiz that is a shit side. If Melbourne dont beat this, then ____ me, they're travelling bad.

That backline is a disgrace.

The centreline looks laughable.

The half-forwards is hopeful at best.

The forward line looks good, no complaints there.

The on-ball brigade looks :thumbsu:

And the interchange has rubbish like Hyde, Schulz and JON in it.

The funny thing is.... there's not much else they could do.

Shortest forward line in the history of football, if it lines up that way.
Iv'e said it before, our guys always kick the ball to overhead marking contests and we play f@#king short people in the area the ball is going to. Shytes me to tears.
