Probably out best lineup all year to be honest. I am still in disbelief at how we could waste draft picks on players like Longmuir and Chambers.

The same ins and outs are posted every week on this site and nothing ever changes. The same duds keep getting a game every week.

Bowyer should have a restraining order placed on him that he cannot go within 500m of a football ground.

Not this week.

French is badly needed, whilst Fisher hasn't even played a game this year!

Norman only played a couple of games at the start of the year (from memory) before injury struck him down as well.

Simmo actually performed pretty well against the Bulldogs, and I wouldn't mind seeing him have another crack, whilst another thread reckons Betts only missed due to indiscipline.

However I will agree, most other weeks our selection policy is like a revolving door. The same players just keep coming in and out, and for some reason no new talent appears!

I say it every week. Prenda will not be dropped. I don't know why, perhaps in the tradition of Kevin Walsh at Essendon years ago who was said to be mowing Sheedys lawn to get a game each week, i can only assume that Prenda is doing the same for Pagan and maybe even washing his car as well.
I would like to see Wiggins come into the side at least he has a fair dinkum crack when he is on the ground.

note: prendergast is part of the Carlton leadership group.

Yes i reliase that.
But what that shows is how shallow our depth is when this is the case, i am sure he is a top bloke but football ability is not measured on personalities.
I am sure Aussie Jones is in the leadership group at the Saints and GT had the gonads to drop him this week, and to that i say good on him, it just shows the other senior players that no one is safe and that nobody should think their spot in the senior side is a given.

*raises bat for 50th post* :)

Not sure that we need to rush Jordan Russell in. Nothing is going to be achieved by rushing the kid in. Let him finish the year out with the Bullants and give him some time in the gym!!

Russell went over with the team to Perth as an emergency. Pagan is pretty close to giving him a crack I think. Just trying to show the player what the preparation is and give him a feel for it. I hope he did not watch the second half though.

French for Prenda if he is fit.Simpson to come in if fit. Drop 1 of the many usual suspects (duds/recycles).
Bentick I would play. Norman I would play if he is over his back problems.

Russell next week I would play.

I' m sick of this same ********en side producing ******** all. Denis Pagan its time to play the kids buddy read below........

B Teague, Livingston, Carrazzo
HB Scotland, Thornton, Norman
C Simpson, Stevens, Walker
HF Lappin, Whitnall, Waite
F Betts, Fevola, McGrath
R French, Kouta, Johnson
Int Hartlett, Bryan, Chambers, Russell

Ins: Norman, Betts, Russell, French, Hartlett, Simpson
Outs: Bowyer, Sporn, Prendergast, Camporeale, Longmuir, Houlihan,

Seriously by having this side in it wouldn't hurt us at all. The year is dead and buried lets give the young kids a chance to prove themseles or at least give us an impression as to what they are going to be like in the next 10 years. Camporeale isn't going to be there in 10 years so there is no point in persisiting with a bloke who has tried and worked for the club and is suddenly struggling to make an impact as he use to. We lack the 50-60 metres goals and the runs down the wings from him...maybe Russell could take over him in that area...lets hope so!!!!

Harlett is quite tall 195cm i think. give him a go at chb on kosi or someone to see what his like. if he gets beaten big deal we probably gunna get beaten anyway.

For those who i took out this week i say this in my honest opinion and what is said about them is jsut constructive criticism, noone take this to heart plz. Iam a Carlton supporter been barracking for the clu bfor 15 years...love them to death. here we go:

Bowyer - good workrate but your too slow. kicking needs to be worked on.

Sporn - you were taken at around 13-14 in 2000 draft. i gave you 5 years to devlop into a l.power or dal santo and you gave me instead 8 possessions in 96 minutes...not good enough. A bit slow, kicking average...need to spend time at n.b.

Prendergast - Ian mate you are the best athelte i have seen since carl lewis your a top guy by the sounds of it and have a great heart. I'd hate to see you go at the end of the year, but we have to improve our list and an athletic can't do that.

Camporeale - started in 95 come on great and have been great for the club for 10 years. I think you have lacked a bit in pace, skil isn't the same give you a week off so you can hopefully get back into your 2000 form soon.

Longmuir - Troy the biggest problem in your game is your workrate. You look good going for a mark, but when you haven't got it your nowehere to be seen. You have to work alot harder without the ball. You have a fantastic mark nd great leap. I wanna see more of you in the foward pocket. Northern Bullants is probably best suited to you.

Houlihan -Whats happenend buddy you a great one week and then your off with the fairys. Great disposal i can't question it...but u are ********en soft as butter boy. Your better than that... a week in the bullants on the ball should see you notch up 30-35 touches easily. hope to see you back against the dockers at the mcg.

Thanx

Those two being dropped will not happen, by a long stretch. I'm no fan of Houlihan, but he won't be dropped.

And suggestion Campo to be dropped is a bit rich. He still has plenty to offer through the midfield and around the ground.
