B: Banfield, McIntosh, Hunter
HB: Collica, Jakovich, Wirrpunda
C: Chambers, Cousins, Braun
HF: Judd, Gaspar, Embley
F: Pe.Matera, Sierakowski, Ph.Matera
Foll: Cox, Jones, Fletcher
Inter: Merenda, Kerr, Wooden, Haynes
Emerg: Green, Glass, Williams
In: Jakovich, Pe.Matera, Merenda, Haynes
Out: Wilson (broken collarbone), Williams, Glass, Humm

Good to see Jako and Roo back. Merenda could be good. Haynes needs to take this opportunity.
Williams, Glass and Humm will all be back in the side in time. They are all quality material.

I think we'll be running through the half forward line rather than looking for FF leads though.

Great to see Jako and Matera back...lets hope Matera hasnt come back to early and that Jako's heart problems are behind him.

The rest though i just dont get?? Dropping Glass and Humm is questionable...Glass' confidence has to be shot by now. And Williams???? What are they thinking? If Whoosha would put him in the game instead of warming the bench he might be able to impress selectors to keep his place in the side, he is criminally underused.

Banners in a back pocket? Please dont make that mistake again, lets see him start on the bench with Wooden in a back pocket. Kerr on the bench is strange but its great to see Chambers finally starting a game, maybe he will play the whole game out, we have all heard about how fit he is.

I agree re Williams. The guy doesnt get enough time on the ground, and then they go and drop him. He was doing really well for us at the start of the year and was even providing us with a couple of handy goals a game, never was the same after he had a hard fall vs Richmond, maybe theres something still niggling with that and the selectors have decided to give him a breather, but otherwise I think it's a disappointing decision from the coaching staff considering how much they carried players like Banfield and Embly who were not having an impact for much longer periods, and they were on the ground more too.

Could Williams being dropped be a disciplinary issue??? If so, I dont have a problem with him being dropped.

Prior to the st k game, didn't worsfold say that those 'fairweather players' who were producing at home but not away would be dropped? Do you think that Williams fits into that category?? Having said that, I think Banfield is very very very lucky indeed to still be out there

Yes he is...he's having a rough season! Im surprised that he is in the team! Thought he would have been sent back to the WAFL ages ago!

I dont think he (Williams) fits into that category as he seems , in my mind at least, to have performed about the same at home and away. I still think he spends too much time on the pine.

Id like to see his game after having one whole game on the field and then going out the next week and playing on the half forward line. I think he'd be good!

Make or break for Haynes

Would it be fair to say that this would be one of the last chances David Haynes has to impress the match committee? He's been a fringe player with the club for the past 3 years and hasn't been able to reproduce his good WAFL form into the AFL on a consistant basis. I was really hoping for big things from him at the start of the year, but right now he'd be in my 'possible trade/delisting list'.

Do you see 'Desi' Haynes at the club in 2003?

Good to see Roo and Jack back, but I agree with most on the issue of Williams being dropped for this game. I thought his efforts for the year have been good so far to date and is not as bad as some of the other players whose games have been questionable.

I can't understand why Woosha is showing a lot of faith in Banners as i think he should be dropped rather than Williams, and I have to agree with GOEAGLES on Haynes. It is his year to step up a notch. Still, I am not the coach......

Lets just hope for a win to restore some confidence into the side after lasts week loss......

If Peter Matera plays tonight then i think he might spend a bit of time at FF, rotating with Embley and Haynes

If he doesnt play then i think its time Haynes put in a solid game in the forward line and starting cementing his spot in the side

Can anyone else remember a game against Essendon a few years back when Pete kicked 7 goals at full forward on a cold nite at the MCG. If he does play at FF and does that we should be on our way to victory!

I remember that game vividly, helped us win the match with that performance.
