INJURY concerns continue to ease for St Kilda, with Xavier Clarke joining recovered trio Max Hudghton, Leigh Montagna and Jason Gram in the team to take on Geelong on Sunday.

Clarke had been named on an extended bench along with brother Raphael and Andrew Thompson, but has been passed fit to play and will take his place after missing the past fortnight with a calf strain.

Both Thompson and Raphael Clarke will have to wait another week to make their returns from injury after dropping back to the emergency list along with Brett Voss, who was omitted.

Tom Harley was named on an extended bench on Thursday, but has survived the finalcut and will return to skipper the Cats at Telstra Dome after recovering from finger surgery and finding some touch in the VFL.

He is one of two changes to last week’s team, with Paul Chapman coming in at the expense of Joel Selwood with Josh Hunt making way for the skipper.

Tom Hawkins had also been included in the extended squad but he drops back to the emergency list with Selwood and Hunt.

So many good inclusions... who will miss out? Good problem to have. Why didnt Brooks get a look in with the injury of Doc? I hate kositzke in the ruck and dont even want to think about Blake in the ruck again...

What happen to M.Clarke? Thats a huge loss. It could be a little of a worry bringing in so many underdone players. Should lift the spirits of the team at least.
