I also responded to her being a GM.
She didn't develop her business sense, that's my whole point. She worked in a PR firm where she had other colleagues running different departments (like finance for instance). Her entire arc is rising to new levels and developing her business sense, I don't think it's that much of a leap.

It would make little sense that she'd be all of a sudden running the women's team. However, you may well be right. They're clearly going to have to come up with something because everything was wrapped up like it was done for good.
Reminds me more of thisThis is giving me Joanie Loves Chachi vibes.
Yep, and S8 was one too many to begin with. Ted Lasso's third was down on its first two, but still considerably better than S8 of Scrubs.Reminds me more of this

Outing myself as being somewhat old (and apologies to picking a phrase out of your post) but this is a mindset I struggle to comprehend. There seems to be a thought that is way too binary for me, that if something isn't amazing, then it must be awful. If it's the same creators and writers and cast, it's probably going to be OK at a minimum.I tend to think it'll continue on the same downward trajectory the last season did if not steeper. I'm also not concerned though. They're the ones ****ing with its legacy. I'll have no qualms not watching it if it's awful.
Hope I'm wrong of course.
Don't be sad for me. I'll be fine. I also never said if it's not amazing it must be awful. I said i won't keep watching it if it's awful. If I'm not enjoying it I will happily not watch it and just sit on the first 2 seasons (like the makers probably should have).Outing myself as being somewhat old (and apologies to picking a phrase out of your post) but this is a mindset I struggle to comprehend. And yeah, I know it's likely a throwaway line. I just think it's sad to not be able to enjoy the good things in something without the negatives overshadowing it.
Fair enough.Don't be sad for me. I'll be fine. I also never said if it's not amazing it must be awful. I said i won't keep watching it if it's awful. If I'm not enjoying it I will happily not watch it and just sit on the first 2 seasons (like the makers probably should have).
