Tempo footy

Last week we went tempo just before (9mins) half time when we were killing the cats.
This week we waited until closer to the siren.
As soon as I saw the ball get lifted into the air I though WTF we are killing them keep the game rolling.
So what happens we come out in the 2nd half where we finished in the 1st half. When will our team learn to show no mercy. Never ever ever.

Thought i'd raise this point again.

Got home from work yesterday just in time to see our guys try possession footy just before 3l4 time. We all know what happened. Idiots I thought. Mind you, I blame the coaches because it wouldn't happen if it wasn't approved.

Fast forward to the dying minutes of the 4th. Blues had plenty of opportunity to try a bit of tempo. In fact I was expecting it to happen. They didn't. They even took risks and kicked away.
My guess is the team (Blues) has been instructed to play footy until the siren goes. At least for the time being anyway. They probably realize taking the pedal off the medal is a mental state as well as physical.

I just hope to **ck our coaches see the light and tell our players that playing keeping off is not what they should be practicing.
IMO we have to learn to take no prisoners. As soon as you relax your a target.

Surely the penny must have dropped after 4 in row. Each game being lost after we start playing soft footy.
