Toast Tenace is back!!!

Skills-wise he's basically indistinguishable from Byrnes, sadly has the same lack of awareness and bad decision making as well. It's beyond me how they've remained in the system for this long; very very lucky blokes.

Such a shame from a 1st round draft pick. At least shan shan has improved somewhat, still plays average in most games though his pace does come in handy.

Eight weeks ago, I never would have thought he'd play a senior game for the Cats again. He got a game, due to circumstances and has held his spot, so far. He's still going to be an easy target to drop when Ottens/Taylor/Scarlett come back and will have to be exceptional to keep his spot. Good luck to him. If he's on the trading block at the end of the season, his return to senior football certainly wouldn't have done the club any harm, when it comes to potential trades.

Clangers today:

SJ 7
Bartel 5
Corey 4
Tenace 0

Wow! How do they justify that? Is a clanger not a disposal that doesn't hit a target anymore?

He is doing fine. But STILL, as he has always done, he never uses his pace when the ball is in his hands.

Speed these days is all about breaking away. The guy doesn't get it. Or possibly he is too busy thinking about where he will put it. Maybe his brain lacks the ability to say "run AND think"

A clanger is something that results in a direct turnover.

Didn't realise that.

Drop SJ I say. ;) But seriously that is a bad stat to have against your name

A clanger is something that results in a direct turnover. Despite Tenace having several poor disposals that didn't hit team mates, he didn't on any occasion hand the ball directly to the opposition. Sadly, the same can't be said for Corey, SJ, Mackie, Milburn, etc., all of whom did so on multiple occasions.

I know I said this last week and got smacked for it. But he is just about done.
They have to give him another role for the rest of the year.
He is either seriously out of form or the new game style of the AFL is passing him.

He just looks like he is lacking composure under time restraints / pressure. And If we are going to have him stuff up then how about it isn't in the backline?
The pressure he is placing on others around him is incredible. He is the new Ling of 06. "Ling receives ball flat footed, takes his time, runs out of options, goes backwards under pressure"

And then on the flip side, when the ball is to be won or lost and it goes out to him on a wing and he looks to be moving forward I am rapt it is him that has it.

Corey's disposal has been awful for the last two weeks. It's never been the best part of his game to be honest. Hopefully when Kel gets back Corey will go to midfield where mistakes are a little less painful.
