Who ever we pick up with pick 2 has to be better than our previous top ten picks:

None of these guys have become AFL stars, Massie is solid, & Livo only time will tell, key position players need time, I’m not giving up on him yet.
If we can’t improve on the above list with our first pick, serious questions need to be asked.

Tenace will be a gun. The next McLeod/Judd. Walker is good, but Tenace will be an absolute gun of a midfielder. You will be kicking yourselves when Tenace destroys your still rather weak midfield next season.

lol. Mate Geelong's midfield would give your midfiled a canning any day anytime. Mate you're not even in a position to bag Geelong's midfield. Ours is twice the midfield yours will ever be.
lol we'll just see who finishes in the top 8 and who finishes 16 th again eh? Ask anyone right now and they'll tell you Geelong has a better list than yours buddy.

Name your heap of star midfielders. Besides Ablett and Tenace, I don't see any.

In fact, neither any of the players we have mentioned are star midfielders because they haven't done anything yet to justify star status. Koutoufidies is perhaps the only star midfielder we have, Campo unlucky to miss (since he needs to create more of an impact).
Stevens is a very good player, but is not a star. Tenace and Walker haven't even played in AFL level yet so calling them stars right now is pretty silly. Ablett is a fine midfielder, but what has he done to warrant star status?
And star midfielders always need support - look at Collingwood during the mid 90's. Despite having a midfield star (who was considered that at the time - only later on did he reach superstar status) by the name of Buckley, they still struggled as we did. No, it doesn't matter if you have one star or two - you need a good midfield in total to support these stars so they become more effective. That's why our midifled was crap - two good midfielders and the rest were crap (I mean really crap).
Geelong has a better midfield because overall, it is better than ours. Better support, better confidence and better skill - the support you had we lacked considerably. How can you expect the likes of Hulme, Franchina, Wiggins, Plunkett and Fletcher to support Koutoufides and Camporealoe? You need at least two very, very good midfielders and the rest to be good to have a top midfield. Fact is, both of our team's midfields are crap at the moment - ours is worse, but both could change either way.
