Played very well, and though I have bagged him before I am a big fan.
Was one of the reasons we were in front in that second quarter.
Kudos Byron Schammer !!!!

Scham may have his faults, but until we've got 22 players who have pin-point disposal and are wiling to put their body on the line in every contest, he'll have his place at Freo. A few others could do with his enthusiasm.

He's been playing hiomself into form...
He is getting better with each match...
I really hope it continues...

Have some been excessively hard on him?? He may need a few official matches under his belt to play himself into good match fitness...

never again will i play a drinking game whereby every time tequila gets a tough i shot one of the same name......though I did love the game my lil miss had to play. Palmer YOU GOD!!!! i'm actually kinda glad you had a quiet second half as I don't know if i would have had the 'stamina' to continue with that game.....enjoyable as it was a man needs his rest:D

he has a lot of flaws in his game but he always steps up when it matters

he's a big game player

He's got a game for a while now simply becoz there wasn't really anyone else who deserved a game instead...

But today Tequila showed why everyone thought he was going to be something special all those years ago. Let's hope its the start of the little guy's rebirth and he continues to contribute like he did today. Under Harves he'll certainly get the chance to run on the ball more than CC ever allowed him too...

As for Palmer - how good can a kid be? The guy is already our 2nd best player!

And what was the difference today? He played on the ball. And good on him for showing Harvey that it was about time he was in the guts.

Yes - he's got to play in the middle. The problem has been that there is normally two others who are similar in there in J.Carr, P.Bell, McManus and to a lesser extend Hasleby, and Schammer has had endurance problems in the past.

Played well today and should be first rover picked in the middle again for next week.

Yes I have been on his disposal and decision making but yesterday he was very good. I actually came on here to eat my words. I have never doubted his courage or intensity and yesterday his disposals were good and decision making very ood as well. He is a lot better when he gets the ball in the middle than at half back when he starts going sideways. I did notice last week during our resurgance it was his attack on the ball that started it and against the Eables he was able to do it more regularly. Anyway well done.

I wish I could come on here and say the same about MCarr but he seems to be low on form at the moment with fumbling and poor disposals. He is a guy that doesnt rush it and usually makes the right decision its just his disposal and fumbling is atrotious.

Yeah my buddy Schammsiebanger played like he needs to play every game this year for us to be top4. Was hard at it, had some nice disposal and got to the contests.

Really impressed with Shammer, Duffield, Palmer, Mayne and Mundy.

...all blonde hair as well which is odd. :)

best game since Dockers V Lions at subi in 2003

Ah who could forget. His goal straight out of the middle in the last minutes, after his man Aker had goaled to put the Lions in front, was one of the greatest moments of watching Freo that I have seen. Was intense!
