He was okay against the Swans. Presented, gave a contest, kicked poorly though. (1.3). Not a good game, but not disgraced.

Compare to Tippett who is giving them nothing every week.

Had he not had the yips last week and kicked 1.4 we could have a home Prelim.

But it was his first Final and he was nervous.


Tonight he got through that and showed his class.

Although that was at Football Park, all those goals came before half time. Similar to last week when all 5 of Tex's goals came after the half-time siren. Just need him to combine the 2 performances for 10 goals 2 behind performance, to down the hawks haha

That moment where he evaded three Freo players, spun around another and drilled it to Tippett was amazing. Agree with others, he's very Fev like, but he seems more hungry for the ball. Sky's the limit.

Tippett really needs to shed the potato skin against Hawthorn though - Tex can't do it alone and Tippett has really been serving up too many bagels for minutes at a time on the stats sheets.

missed 5 games suspended, at 3.3 goals per game average would've put him on 70 for the season and winning the coleman by a good margin. maybe next year...
