With almost 7 long months of speculation, innuendo and utter prejudjice I would just like to say a big thank you to the Essendon BigFooty board. It has been a place of serenity where I have only had the privilege of meeting a very select few (might need to change that ey?) throughout my time on here.

This past 7 months has taken it's toll on a lot of people, friends on facebook are turning on me, general public have asked for "Jobe to hand his brownlow back", and the general dissemblance for Essendon has been hard to comprehend at times.

I have started to see some of our very own turn on one another in the past few weeks and it's not on really, we are all here for the same cause; our love of the Essendon Football Club. A club with a collective history greater than that of some of BigFooty Essendon's greatest names.

I would like to throw out a big, big thanks to rines for his ongoing updates with some inside information on the situation, without your sporadic reassuring comments we would all be bowing to the masses on the hot topics board with the idiotic responses and general stupidity reserved moreso for the Bay than the main board, the pride of place in BigFooty.

Whilst we are on the hot topics board, only visited it sporadically but was fighting tooth and nail tonight, ManWithNoName is probably still there fighting for the Bombers and doing a damn fine job in doing so.

With the Essendon BigFooty supporters, I thank you, for keeping me sane, for allowing me to vent, and for re assuring me in even the toughest of days.

So thank you guys and no matter what happens in the next 24 hours, I will follow them through tooth and nail. I was with them through the highs of our 2000 premiership, and the lows when we played virtually every listed player on our list in 08/09, and now, through arguably the biggest scandal to ever grip this sport I will stand by my club.

So let's not bow to the pressures of the media puppetmasters, nor will we let the general public dish out their stupid unresearched, fairfax based opinions and get us down.

So let's do #whateverittakes and let's all #standbyhird and the rest of the Essendon Football Club.

It's genuinely despicable some of the things I've heard throughout this whole saga.! The general hatred towards us is unparalleled, the with hunt led by the media is disgusting. On a daily basis I have checked into here to read the re assuring posts, the cute little jokes and still allowing me to vent throughout this whole saga.

No matter what happens today, I will stay true to MY FOOTBALL CLUB, the football club that has brought more joy than anything I may have experienced (no honestly, coming back and beating Norf all those years ago, THAT 2000 season, the highs of Zaka on Anzac Day are almost unparalleled)

We will come back from this, sadly though, the masses will not be happy unless Windy Hill is burned to the ground. The constant one sided bashing, the hatred is unbearable at times. BigFooty has helped me through this whole ordeal in a much bigger way that people could imagine.

Is a hollow feeling to think of the shit going down .
