Let's get the facts straight - I did not gloat. I thought it was appropiate to display some of the arrogance of a couple of their supporters when they were in no position to. Fancy that, talk of us getting "thrashed" - that was the key reason. And a prefect indication of why these things do come back to bite you, which was the whole purpose of the thread. No point bragging about beating the 16th positioned side who are undermanned. But a win is a win after all.

as far as those warnings, i've looked back at those threads you are talking about, and i only retaliated to those that started on me. If you have a double standard, when i comes to people who have opinions that differ to you, and not worry about the insults directed at me, well you can go...........

And I didn't become a moderator to take crap from you, to let you get away from giving crap to others or to drag down this board with homophobic rubbish (we have the posts from you - so don't say that these sort of remarks don't exist). Things were going along fine until you started insulting other supporters when they disagreed with you on Pagan. Naturally, they had to defend themselves - and some were put back in line including yourself. We gave warnings out via PMs but you ignored them. How? Well look at your position towards me... you're still upset because you got put back in line. And you haven't heeded our warnings.

like i saw the "grand admiral" post all the predictions that calton would lose last night. Made me feel ashamed that i support a club, that he supports. Remmember the name of that thread, cause "things have a way of coming back and biting you on the A$$".

Of course he had a right, but sometimes freedom of speech sprukes the inane. An undermanned team wasnt the issue of the post, it was simply that the CFC team put in 4 quarters of footy....a rare sight over the past 2 years.

There will be some Hawk supporters that would have taken the last week extremely hard, I know I would have....and to see CFC supporters enjoying the win would be extremely annoying....do not need a PHD to understand that.

Because this is a Carlton board we should feel comfortable stating our ENJOYMENT in a win without having to read 4 pages of utter dribble about the issue.

Leave it alone guys, much more interesting things to defend/debate.....lets talk US politics, African genocide, Howards sycaphantic US bum licks.....

The comment was out of context in relation to the thread. Do you agree or not? The comment was designed to temper any joy Carlton fans might have about a victory and was made on their own board. Do you agree or not?
The response he got was deserved in light of that comment and pages dedicated to defending the comment and denigrating moderators was totally unnecessary.

In reality i was dissapointed by:

Houlihan - Turns over the ball too much. Cost us at least 2 goals on Friday night

Campo - Be bloody consistant, youre vice captain

Simpson, Mcgrath - Just had a bad game

The rest of the players were positive, especially Digby

Urgently needed - more players kicking goals. Stop relying on our 60 metre man made missile

Off coarse we have to find the negitive. Instead of celebrating the fact that we have just won our second game in a row, something that we haven't done since 2001. Lets just celebrate the win and forget the negitive.
