Geelongs problems have all got to do with us mucking around with the ball in the backline...and by the time we actually move foward there are 10 defends on 6 fowards...

Some weeks we play well moving it quickly then as soon as we come up against a side like Hawthorn they just revert back to the crap style...I dont undertstand why...

I'd hate to be Mooney/Hawkins/Nablett and putting up with the pathetic delivery and constant holding up of the ball...

Mate it was difficult for both teams. If Geelong are ever going to get anywhere they should win games like these. We were an absolute disgrace. Played poorly and made stupid decisions

I did watch the game, and I'm as pi$$ed off as any GFC tragic. Yes, I agree that we did make some crucial errors, but given it was a close contest it could've gone either way, as it did in the end. Getting sick of losing to the Hawks though.

Hawkins, Mooney, Nablett did nothing, it's all their fault. Maybe it was the pressure they had on them, the difficult conditions, unfamiliar ground, and you're bagging the crap out of them . Even though their were lots of mistakes on both sides, that's what pressure can do.

Yeah whatever. Can't see how you think I'm accepting mediocrity. You're probably one of the 'supporters' who'll say that the club should tank after that loss and get ready for next year.

All my point is that it was a difficult day for both teams given the conditions, it was a close contest and today the result went in Hawthorn's favor.

After last year, we are coming off a low base. Obviously it's still too early to say how we are going to go but I'll reserve my judgment on the team for a while yet, not on the back of a FOUR point loss.
