This year apart from Kel Moor it was Matty White who was the big improver in my opinion.

Who does everyone think will come from nowhere in 2009.

For mine it will be Danny Meyer. Just looking at him in the latter half of the year for Coburg, he has filled out big time and is developing a big hard body.
If he can have an injury free pre-season I reckon he might be the bolter of `09

Meyer for mine.

Hopefully Casserly makes a mark, and Steamer can have a breakout year.

dont quote me on it but i think meyer has been delisted...

what makes you think this. I would be very surprised if we delist him. maybe trade him but delist. that's bordering on irresponsible. a pick 12 in 2004 and a big improver in coburg in the latter part of this year. surely he has one more year to make an impact. Hawks will be keen as they were disapointed to miss out on him in his draft year.

my sister lives with him and my cousin goes to school with his brother but im not 100% sure whether he has been delisted or not and i hope what i heard isnt true because i think he definately deserves more time due to injury and like you said has been one of coburgs best players when he's been fit.

Hughes and Meyer will improve next year, but the most improved will be Raines. Get the feeling he will claim a midfield spot next year and will shock everyone.

Im jumping on the Cass train for 09.

There was something about him in that pre-season game vs the Saints, I saw it and I stand by it.

I cant even remember it, but i saw it and i said, hes gonna make it.

Travis Casserly for 2009. :thumbsu:

From what I've seen Dan Connors has all the ingredients to be an outstanding player, it's only gonna happen once he gets his head right as he seems to frequently lose concentration - not sure how fit he is - '09 could be his time??

Our notable improvers in '08, Deledio, Whitey and the 3 lads in the backline, could improve even further in '09.

I hope our overall development gives C Newman some more time in the guts - he could step up to be a very good onballer.

Very keen to see Cotchin fully fit & firing - dynamite!

Tambling & Schulz must become consistent - let's show it '09 chaps.

Foley won't be delighted with his '08 so he'll have something to say.

Jacko could be ready?

Sh!t folks..looks like we're in for a great year!!

I agree. Raines will come on leaps and bounds.

I think there is going to be improvement in over 30 players on the list for next season.

We could be a very scary side if everyone improves together.
