Very ordinary second quarter by the crows. Missed targets, didn't win the hard ball or contested possession and it spend 70% of the quarter in central a half.

Pods, Atkins and shaw (only because it was down this end so much) best for crows.

Need a better 3rd and 4th Quater

While I understand his current whipping boy status, surely with injuries and Lever learning his craft and Cheney being very undersized for 3rd tall defender, it is worth considering shuffling the backline with Talia and Pods playing on the two tallest key forwards (and Pods on the slowest), Lever playing on the third tall. This leaves Laird, Brown, Cheney (and swapping with any combination that may include Mackay, Henderson, Smith etc when playing). At least Pods can clunk a mark if moved forward or play ruck in the backlines.

He's always been good at that. In 2012 when he wasn't injured he was averaging over 10 spoils a game iirc.

You do realise Knight is playing in the midfield/engine room and Shaw is playing loose down back??
