A bong head smoking bogan with poor disposal who has no respect for his opponent. Besides that, he screwed my dog.
I'm all for Swan bashing, but you crossed the line when you started dissing bong smokers.

Dane Swan lol.

As overrated as they come.
He's playing with a dodgy groin. Still a superstar. You know what I hate? players who deliberately play for free kicks, Cats have a few of them. Umpires are shocking like always, not a Pies man myself but even blind freddy could see Cloke was being illegally played on a few times last night with no free kick.

Blight on game when umpires can be so 1 sided. Take the early game on Saturday between Doggies and tigers.

1st term, Tigers 10-2 free kicks
2nd term, Doggies 7-1 free kicks

Now come on, you simply can not tell me that that is following the laws of the great game, clearly the umpires are pathetic at their job.

Any chance of a Kangaroos/Port draw?

I'd be happy with just a win, let alone by 40+ points.
The Kangas are at home, they should win. Port have played 2 shit teams. You'd have to be blind to not have seen how poorly the Crows are travelling.

If Carlton can pull themselves up I'll be surprised. I've not been impressed. No Judd, no team.

There is little skill to tipping. Few games are close and many have obvious winners.

I'm never any good at it because I tip too may underdogs and hence I just end up losing to those that tip every favourite.

I prefer to get rewarded for picking the underdog in the way of better odds or a big line.

I'll take you on head to head Son of God picking every betting line next week.

Yes Swan is crap but Selwood is a ducker and Johnson is a stager.

Turns out Bartel is a stepladder :p

Sure

Agree with the Johnson call and he frustrated me no end. Bartel and Bundy are the only duckers we have now that Chappy has gone. Watch the non free kick to King and subsequent holding the ball in the Richmond match for the definition of the duck. Selwood has never and intentionally moved his head down and in a forward motion to receive a free kick, he shrugs his shoulders to break the tackle which subsequently takes him high....that is not a duck. If it was, under the new interpretation he wouldn't still be getting free kicks. The onus is on the tackler to find a better technique....pin the arms at the waste like we were taught as juniors.

Turns out Bartel is a stepladder :p

Fair grab wasn't it.

It's funny when Geelong supporters in particular attack Collingwood for being "bong heads".

I guess their memories aren't at all that great because not one Collingwood player has been convicted of anything to do with illicit drugs at all and yet a current Geelong player has been convicted of drug trafficking and cocaine possession.

Pot calling the kettle black?

Anyway, what I did come to this shit thread for was to discuss Spotless Stadium. Why are the front-row seats raised so high? I've never noticed it until now watching the GWS v Melbourne game, god help me.

PROSECUTORS have agreed to drop a drug trafficking charge against AFL Geelong premiership player Mathew Stokes.
GEELONG AFL premiership player Mathew Stokes has escaped conviction and been placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond after pleading guilty to possessing cocaine.
Someone needs to get their facts straight....of course I'm unable to mention names. It must have been The Jet again.

Yep, I was wrong. But Stokes pleaded guilty to cocaine possession and that's still more actual evidence of drugs within the AFL than any current Collingwood player. Sure plenty of ex-AFL footballers have come out about drug use during their careers and post-career and it is sad. I did a Sports Policy class last year and focused my assessments around Drug Agencies and all that shit and it was truly fascinating to see how many athletes admit to using drugs. There's no doubt that there are some AFL players that have been involved with drug use but until there's evidence that they have used drugs or been involved with drugs in any illegal manner, then there's no need to publicly assume a certain player does.

It certainly is sad to see a player like Gavin Crosisca, who I admired in my earlier days admit to strong drug use during his days and in all fairness and respect, even Ablett had some serious troubles with the nasty shit which have been well-documented. It's absolutely shit to see careers and reputations be diminished and we as a footy community around the nation shouldn't "celebrate" opposition players for being "druggies". It's an awful situation and the majority of athletes that use drugs do so as a coping mechanism for serious mental conditions and diseases. I don't believe that any supporter at all should continue to create slanderous claims about athletes without any evidence because it is completely unnecessary and it just makes the sport uglier and uglier and even though I can say my opinion on the matter, I know that I am not going to be able to change a thing sitting behind a computer.

I think sport fanatics sometimes forget that athletes are real people with real troubles and real lives and they aren't "unbreakable" as people seem to believe. I hate illegal drugs in every dimension and as much as I want the drug culture around the world to stop, we all know just how far away from this that we actually are. :(

Are you sure? That's because they self reported to escape any penalty. As a result of the self reporting, the AFL brought in a new rule to stop the self reporting as an easy out from getting any penalties. From memory there were 4 of them. Unsure if any names were mentioned though at the time.

Well it comes from the heart. I ******* hate drugs and everything to do with them.
Respect.

I don't understand them tbh, people always going "don't knock em till you try em" but ****, I know that sticking your wang in a cheese grater is bad and I haven't done it.

Just seems like escapism.
