I rate swanny's ability to get ball, make space and keep running, but opposition teams don't tag him because he doesn't dispose of it well. He's a ball hog, and screws up almost as much as Scott Thompson. He's definitely above average, but I don't think he's elite.

I didn't say he is elite either, in some areas he would rate in the elite category though, in some he wouldn't, he certainly isn't average..

And I hate Collingwood and Dane Swan.

You sir, are the one that needs to "learn footy" if you truly believe that Dane Swan is anywhere near "average".

That would be ill informed and plain wrong.

Maybe average was the wrong word, but certainly overrated, and not as good as you're led to believe or think.

Dane Swan was awesome that year he polled well in the Brownlow without being rated.

I certainly knew about him being into Dream Team.

Once the media pick up on certain players it becomes less fun to rate them. You feel like a bandwagoner.

I'm not happy with either my Fantasy, DT or SC teams this season and many of my last minute changes have been shit. The only saving grace with stupidly not taking Ablett in Fantasy was that I was only left with Jobe as a captain option this week, so yeah silver lining. 1712 with 6 to come. Can someone please quote this post in 11 months time and remind me that this season will be my last playing these forms of fantasy football. I take it way too seriously.

North are my perennial 'overrated' side. I don't think I'll ever rate them again. Season after season people say they'll be good and their young midfielders will step up. I'm sick of hearing Ziebell, Cunnington, Atley, Bastinac blah blah blah. Individually, they consistently have one great game, two good games and two less than satisfactory games out of five. I honestly don't think I could've handled the last five seasons being a North supporter.

I didn't get a chance to listen to any talkback last week, how ****ing good is it to have it back! So looking forward to 11:05 when the Crunch Time tune starts up. Not quite as good as "...and there's cricket, on the radio" on the ABC, but it's right up there.

I didn't watch alot of the game tonight but when I did I thought Jack Watts looked really good. Promising atleast for Melbourne supporters.

Both teams were ****ed before three quarter time. Dees were never going to get back with their only big forward concussed and a couple other walking wounded. It was a great effort though, their recruits all had great games, Tyson especially.

Melbourne have been the match fit team for years now.

No hope early but once they get fit you need to be careful.

They either don't push hard enough during preseason or just don't have the conditioning staff that can get the results.

I'm still waiting for Eth to bring up the stats that show how Melbourne had so much of the ball (Swan logic) yet with little effect.
