Agree, the Living End is one of Australia's greatest bands but they get over looked by one album wonders like Jet and Wolfmother and who the **** is Augie march?

The ARIAs will continue to have zip credibility until they have a 'Best Aussie Metal release'. Australia has come along miles in the last 10 years in Metal, producing some awesome acts, in a genre that has been around for almost 40 years. That there's no ARIA Metal category is a disgraceful joke......

Have you actually listened to they're (i am always so tempted to say his...) album? Its sensational... been around for a while but im really happy i can actually start listening to em on a more commercial radio station now!

I just noticed one thing though. Bernard Fanning was nominated, but lost best blues and roots album. Yet won album of the year... Hmmm that doesnt make sense to me. I dont really like the Audreys either. Dont think they are anywhere near as popular or liked as Xavier Rudd or Bernard Fanning either so not sure how audreys managed that..

As for Wolfmother, i personally love them. As does ALOT of Australia. Hence why they won. People dont have to like them, thats fair enough, but when one band is clearly very well liked and received by the majority i dont think that having that band winning the award takes away from the credibility of the event. Im not saying that it is credible but that argument is foolish.

Not as foolish as the person who called them one album wonders though. I cant believe how stupid you really are. Your calling the band that just won 'best breakthrough album' one album wonders?... Sigh.. Have a think about that one for a second.
