might have been the yoyo test unless he's the best 10yr old runner in the country

He's in grade 5 and came 3rd for the school so it obviously isn't the same test, what's this yo-yo test you speak of?

It’s the yo-yo test.

They do it in schools now.

I’d still say 16 is strong towards 10 in the beep.

God this gave me nightmares at high school. I am not a runner, end of.

Having said that tho at my old school the school provided us with group PT sessions for an entire year (once a week).

We did do the beep test at the start of that year I was like a 2 or 3.

After training I was at like a 6, was proud of myself.

*And then proceeded to watch the PE staff go like 12+

I managed 14.1 in year 9 which was comfortably the best in my year. I used to get incredibly anxious beforehand though, I put wayyyy too much personal pride in my beep test score and wasn't exactly annoyed when it started to get phased out of a P.E. curriculum towards the end of my schooling.

Would be interested to see how I'd go now. Wouldn't be upset never to do one again though...

Did it last year for football and was still the best in my team at 36 but nowhere near what I used to get.
