Kosi for Lloyd? Even with Lloyd's dodgy hamstring, I don't think that trade will ever go through. However, Kosi's form last night was helpful. :eek: (and I traded him in DreamTeam - doh!)
 
Luke, I'm still after that player I wanted. You got any ideas on who you might want so we can make it happen?

My players aren't doing so well thus far. Might be a down week for me.

On a more serious note, great game Bert. You almost got me, but I luckily had an unlikely saviour in Shaun Burgoyne, who came off the bench, and picked up the 9 possies needed to get me over the line.

That's the problem with narrow losses, you're left contemplating 'what if?' and re-examining your line-up to work out who you should have put in or left out.

If you get spanked at least you don't feel too responsible
 
Great round this one. Records scores from Don and myself if I'm not mistaken, so I'm pretty happy! :thumbsu:

But I got lucky with Fev and Franklin kicking bags of goals. Got not much out of Lucas, though.

Bert - a touch unlucky in your game but great job Usual Suspects!

Dream Machine and Sapphire was also a great match-up.

I'm up against Alphanumeric next round. Paul's got a pretty good line-up so I'd be surprised if he doesn't perform a lot better this time around. :eek:
 
Spida up for trade. Same goes for B.Johnson, K.Johnson, Davis, etc.

Gotta give my boys a new lease on life after their narrow loss...

A few new draftees this week. Fletcher, Petterd and Taylor being listed by the coaches. This delisting thing is interesting, because it throws up a few tactical scenarios. Do you use most of them up early in the season to snap up the guys who didn't get a spot originally? Or do you wait until later in the season to grab someone who might have just bobbed up in the latter half of the year?

I'm going for the first option. Once you can see a player is having a good year you gotta get him before someone else does. Jordan Lewis the perfect example. If you wait too long the only players left will be those which won't add much value to your squad anyway.

Last week was probably my best chance.

Can't work it out.

My squad looks OK on paper.
 
What the hell happened with that McLean > Riewoldt trade? That's a massive move giving The Dream Machine another key forward.

I wish someone screwed up when I propose my trades...

Haha, that was my screw up. I thought I already had McLean, as I;d forgotten I;d traded him, and thought I was gaining Riewoldt, who I already had.

Damn, I had McLean before, happy to have got Harvey for him but would've been ecstatic to pick up Riewoldt.

Can't complain too much, I'm rather happy with my current list. Unless I get a really good offer I doubt I'll trade anyone else.

Haha. That's what the Dream Machine did. I got about 5 trades from him and misread the one.

And I'll offer some fairly valuable personnel to whoever can trade Don for Brent Stanton then on-trade him to me.

I have actually been considering that. Doubt I will, because White's done brilliantly, but the thought has crossed my mind
 
Some awesome trades proposed tonight boys. Good work by all of you.

I've considered every one very carefully, and might sit on a couple overnight I think.

If I reject any of them it's not that I haven't given them careful thought, so feel free to keep offering things up. I'll do the same (and make them reasonable so Tarkyn doesn't threaten to black ban me like Alphanumeric). :)
