Yeah it was a fantastic win last night by the boys.

Who else is as excited about this year compared to where we were at last year ????

Im certainly excited about the prospect of back to back flags

But im not sure if i will enjoy it as much as last years win.

Only time will tell i guess if we do achieve it.

I reckon i would enjoy it more.....last year was like a relief for me....this year will just be a month long celebration (if we win)

The thing is, I don't think Adelaide played all that badly. Just rewatching this morning and they still held it up a bit more, still tried to do alot of running. They weren't nearly as clean as usual but still. We just smashed them though. Wouldn't let them get any momentum, and their forward line was terrible.

And thats why its such a good victory, because it wasnt a team who was down on form or had various huge injuries, it was a team who had almost beaten others in the top 4, and we made them look second rate. And Adelaide are not a second rate side. It was awesome.

Yeah that opening play pretty much summed up what was to follow, just clean and smart ball movement.

Also loved the Lonergan goal late in the 2nd QTR, which started with a Wojcinski shimmy in the back pocket without a crows player touching it

Fantastic four quarter effort - only thing that let us down was that we really should have won by about 10 goals more.

Wow... I think the use of the ball and the non stop game plan was astounding. I don't think we have seen better use of the ball and really should have won by 20 goals again. Heard Jarrod Molloy on 774 3LO saying the same amazing to watch and have taken the game to a new level... The dogs and Hawks will certainly be a true test as I don't rate anyone outside the top 4. I think even Collingwood have gone off the boil. Last nights performance was certainly a great follow up to the West Coast game and this little period of time needs to be certainly cherished after all those years...!

Was another awesome performance last night.

I was listening to K-Rock's call last night, and before the game they were talking about how many Geelong players need to be stopped or have a down day/night in order for Geelong to lose. They named the usual suspects (Ablett, Bartel, Corey, Chapman, SJ) but another two names bobbed up last night - Selwood and Enright.

Our team is so even all across the park, and our list is so deep too. Hawkins, Taylor and Prismall could have all been playing last night and I doubt the result would have been any different.

If someone had told me at the start of the year that we would not only win both our games at Subiaco and AAMI Stadium mid-season, but bump our percentage up from 132 to 147 while doing so, then I would have thought they'd need their head read.

Very underrated player on our team.

I, personally, have always rated this bloke, i reckon he is an absolute gun. He was unlucky to miss AA last season when virtually everyone else made it.
