I'll get the ball rolling. Most of you probably know by now i'm not Sinclairs biggest fan. Nothing against the lad, I appreciate his energy, but I just don't think he will crack it at AFL level.

My big call, Sinclair delisted before the final list lodgement on the 31st of October.

-> Not too long to wait before you either give it to me for my foolishness. Or maybe just maybe i'm right!

Shoenmakers to have a brilliant pre season and line up on big Travy round 1 next year and keep him to donuts! :D, big enough?

Exactly the sort of call I had in mind. I guess if Clarkson is a masochist that would be a good way to start the season.

No faith in Stratton?

Well with Buckley wanting good Kicks you could be onto Something Quickt

Brent Maccaffer is 100% overrated on the Collingwood board.

Care to elaborate?

I've heard you make this remark before but I can't recall any reasoning behind it.

To me Macaffer is a hard tackling, strong marking, one on one specialist who stands up when required. The perfect decoy for Cloke and Dawes and an integral component in our forward line balance.

I can only imagine he is underated by some because as a medium forward he is not always the most involved player in the team. But that is the nature of his role - and as a role he plays it to a tee!!

Retort??

Why do you say that Matty?
He was the standout in day one of Nick Maxwell's camp/combine today, and he was probably our second best VFL player last year (behind Sundberg).

It's no certainty, but I think he'll be considered late in what is a very weak draft.

What numbers did he put up?

Well going by Boltons pick last season you would not rule it out

Simon Buckley to be all Australian next year......

.... In the mid field.

I think this Big Call is worthy of a video

Buckleys comments regarding other Buckley's potential may lend creedence to this big call.

However I believe this call will ultimately be shot down.

Maybe we need to keep a tally of Fails vs Wins in the OP?

100% agree

Wellingham ends up being a fringe player next year, loses his walk up start into the team. Didak back to his best.

Hawthorn to play off in grand final again and Carlton to miss the top four again.

EDIT: Totally misread the meaning of this thread...

Hawks to finish top, only to go out in straights sets in the finals.

Young talent time will be a flop.
Welingham will take his game to A grade level.
There will be a Rocky 7.
Mancity will take the title.
A second wiggle will retire.
World will end.
I won't crack a fat.
They'll invent ivf for infertile anamoxes.

What is going to happen with Sundberg next season? He was a pretty consistent performer in the seconds, will any other teams look at him?

My big call is that Josh Thomas will force his way into the firsts at some point in the season and tear it up!

Big Call -
Delistings: Ugle and the rest
2012 Retirees: Davis, Johnson, Tarrant, Maxwell, Krakouer
2012 Rising star noms: Thomas, Witts, Mooney

Massive Calls: Mooney to play in 2012 Collingwood Premiership, a forward to win the brownlow, Dawes and Cloke to kick a combined goal total of more than 140.
