I'm not sure where to put this thread,so'll put it here.
Does anybody have any sympathy for the bloke who ran down and killed 7 teenagers at Cardross,near Mildura,on saturday night,fled the scene and left his 2 kids in the car.
I sure as hell have no sympathy for him.

for a milli-second thinks maybe he just panicked, but no, to leave people who were in pain & agony & needing help due to your stupidity & also to leave your own kids in a wrecked car ( suppose it had ignited too) & go & hide in a mate house for 6 hours - no it beggars belief no sympathy at all - hope he suffers at the hand of fellow prisoners for a long time when he goes down

Of course, when he appears in court, his lawyer will go on about mental anguish, he has suffered enough, over exposed in the media, deeply sorry, not this kind of person etc. Bulls**t. No excuses here.

Good to see the media has trialed him already and he is a heartless killer. How much longer do we have to put up with the tabloid media playing on a very emotional and sensative public? Anything to sell papers aye boys.

Look at this image..and look at the point of where he lost control and look whats standing directly opposite. Yes thats right a group of drunk, hypo teenagers. Now I been to parties in my youth where there is always a few arse clowns being just that and they love throwing things at passing motorist on their way home.

Now whos to say that something was thrown at the car which made him loose control?

Anyway he has an appaling record so i have no sympathy in that regards, but i do feel for the family, the tabloid media in this campaignerry has again failed for the sake of selling papers.

So you're saying someone from the group waiting for a taxi threw something at Towles' car and he swerved to avoid it and smashed into the group walking to another party?
But according to SOME media reports, he has his 4 yr old son on his knee while driving a vehicle,which is an offense.
Why did he flee the scene of an accident without offering help?,also an offense.
Why did he hide in his mates house and leave his children ,both under 10, in the vehicle?

Maybe he ran away b/c he was scarred what the kids would do to him?
