lets put it this way otaku, i guess it would be just a barrel of laughs for all concerned, if JC was depicted the same way huh?

like the paper suggested "has refused to apologise for the drawings citing freedom of speech".
yes, of course you can have free speech, but free speech also means that you make people angry,and when people are angry they tend to do angry things.
But hey, i suppose in all this "free" thing, you are not free to be angry huh?

By the way, the title of the thread is a bit ambiguos, was the stupidity eveident from the paper that published that, in the name of free speech, all be it in the name of "stupidity", or were the gummen stupid, because they were angry at seeing the their equivalent to our JC depicted in that way?
Remember, it happened in Gaza a relatively quiet part of the world by any standards huh?

We tend to only look at it from the single dimension of where we sit and were brought up huh? Imagine being a kid in that environment, kind of drips of balance deosnt it?

Kind of figure also that there is alot of satire going around in regards to the muslim faith, by our wise media, but i cant seem to see the same kind of satire emanating from muslims on western religions.

The guys were upset that their religion is portrayed as a religion that advocates change through violence. They get upset, fair enough.
