Very rare for a player to miss games and get the brownlow. I think Ablett's ankle may have cost him. Who will win though? I'd say Bartell - haven't seen much of Boomer so I can't really comment on him.

Although I haven't seen much of Boomer, what I saw last year from his squibbing and bitching to umpires after only getting 8 possessions in a half and then being nursed through to 4 charity goals from the men in white he is certainty to win the 08 brownlow, albeit undeservingly.
