Moved Thread Which Club has the better List? Carlton or Port?

Both Lists are similar with great top end Talent but lacking Depth and have underperformed in Season 2025. Which List is better and would You prefer to work with going Forward as a Coach or a List Manager and Why?

Port
Butters, Bergman, Rozee, JHF, Georgiadies is a good core to build around

Blues have got 3-4 years left before the list looks like eagles or north at their worst

Both top heavy and reliant on too few.

It'd take a good coach and/or injury luck to get anywhere.

Need to invest into recruiting and/or development.

But Carlton probably better placed right now. But if either get gutted of their stars. They're ****ed. Rumours of curnow going? Thatd screw carlton and id flip to port in an instant unless butters goes too

Cripps, Weitering, Curnow, McKay, De Koning and Walsh are just as good of a Core to build a Team around. Small Forwards are a glaring Hole in the Lists of both Clubs.
