have Thompson and Proud on the bench and Brown on the field, both Cornes and Fletcher go down injured this week meaning if Thompson gets dropped i'll have 2 0's if I don't trade. Went down by 26 this round due mainly to !@*^$#@ Franklin's 1 goal 7, only needed an average game for me to scrape home.

Am now 1-2 in my league and in trouble for the next few rounds if I don't trade, but if I trade it'll hurt me come finals time.

Will probably ride out the next few weeks and hope I can get lucky and stay close to the 8.

Dropped him 2 weeks ago sadly after Laidely officially became (my) Satan (& H Taylor was dropped) to avoid a donut in my backline. I personally don't have faith that Laidley will keep playing him, but i wish him well. Loved him at Geelong reserves last season, and was not happy to see North nick him in the draft!

Agreed. Unfortunately it looks like lethal wants to give a couple of other rookies a game soon as well - if last weekend's extended bench is anything to go by - so it could be hard for Proud. The worst bit is that he really showed something in the very limited time he's been given this season.

I don't know what the hell to do. Downgraded my backs to shore up the forward line last week (thanks Buddy), and now the backline is looking decidedly shaky.
Have only 14 trades left, but am seriously considering pissing off Chornes.

Backs are: Chornes, Shaw, Gilbee, Newman, Birchall, Ibbotson, Pfeiffer with Proud and Hansen emergency.
