THE CLOUDS reformed... Sort of

Jodi Phillis and Patricia Young have got back together and released a 5-track EP under the name "THE GIRLS FROM THE CLOUDS". Very much in the same vein as "Penny Century", guitar based pop, with great melodies and harmonies that are every bit as good as the Beach Boys.

The Clouds are still my favourite Australian Band. "Penny Century", "Thunderhead" and "Futura" were fantastic albums that I still listen to on a regular basis. They also released 5 or 6 great EP's.

Favourite Clouds tracks were:
Bower of Bliss, Hieronymous, Say It, Down From The Sky, Maybe, Bubble Boy, Loud, Ammorta, Rocket, Wichita Lineman and Aquamarine.

It was actually released early December, but I didn't find out about until just recently when I was arguing with a Kiwi "friend" regarding the origins of the band members. He believes most of the line-up was Kiwi, while I believe only Patricia Young is from the Land of the Long White Cloud.
