That's not a Bushism.

Having grown up through the 70's and 80's bushism was a huge trend....not so much nowadays though. I vividly remember the 1982 Grand Final......

Fair call. I probably should have preferenced Australian Bushisms over American Bushisms. I feel traitorous.

I know this won't resonate with the Gen Y crowd but trust me when I say like all things it will come back into fashion ODN! :)

Okay so my campaign speech from last month did not work but here goes....again!

My journey into the Big Footy list was not as easy as others. I was not a first round pick like HBF, Harker or zeecfc. I came in from the rookie list and had plenty to work on. I recall ODN sitting the new group of draftees down and advising that it did not matter what number you were picked up at we were all equals....considering HBF was already tapping out a post on his iPad it did not make me feel any better.

So in my first pre season I decided to do some extra training sessions. I spent time on as many forums as I could, Big Whitegoods, Big UFO Sightings, Big Russian Brides....okay so I admit the last one was not a huge departure from what I had been doing but I digress!

I found the step up from the VFL boards to the AFL boards difficult. The standard was so much higher on the AFL boards. I had to work on my multi device runnings, my transition work at power outages from desktop to tablet. It was ruining my confidence as dexterity was never a huge strength of mine.

Then Dramoth took me under his wing. He was a posters poster, your old fashioned style who was not a super athlete but boy could he post with conviction.

I would like to think I have come a long was since my rookie years and that is my story! :D
