Ahh the old rubber band trick . Nfs was bad for that too but I have found the crew to be even worse ... Maybe it's to keep it even and make it exciting at the end of a race to follow on to the movie ? Add to the drama ...

Yeah... in the short races it can go unnoticed..but long races it is painfully obvious. I would add the need to constantly nitro boost in long races really takes away from the enjoyment of actually racing. Still love the game, but this is clearly its biggest downfall. Ill prob just do PvP races soon to avoid it

Pvp is the best way to raise rep but with the servers not really working it is just luck if you get a game or not . They were working on the server last night so I'm hoping they have made it better so u can at least get a game [emoji106]

It is just the AI that gets catchup in the crew thank god... still crap when trying to tick off some long races

Just as bad. Hate shit like that, improve the AI so they drive better lines or what ever...Don't make them faster than their car can actually go.

Yes i had one game over two hours last night . Was getting to the lobby and it froze and I had to quit ! I was wondering if there are other area in us that had more people playing Pvp like la

So no luck with the Pvp over 3 hrs only got 1 dirt race and being down south now there are even less people playing Pvp ! Best place I've found so far is New York and Washington as having the most people ....

Hey everyone I noticed on another website there is a way that you can send invites to friends to do faction missions for you and in return you get money back as a reward ! Good way to make some quick cash without playing the game and you can send invites out every 3 hrs !

Hated it in either the Dirt/Grid series. Can't remember which, could've even been a different series. There were one on one face off races where they encouraged trading paint, so 25% through the race you could spin the other car out big time, and they'd be back on your tail within a minute. It was Mario Kart-esque.

I know for sure the first Grid game was alright, you got penalised for hitting other vehicles in the one on one races i think. But it does seem common in a few racers, it was pretty bad in the NFS games around the Most Wanted/Carbon ones 10 years ago as well Is it just lazy dev work? Doesn't really reward the person leading the race, almost a matter of timing if you can nip ahead of them near the end after mucking up the first 75% of it. lol

I redemed mine but nothing showed up so i redemed it again(it let me so i thought it didn't work the first time) and it still didn't show so i don't know what happened. I have moved on my copy now (made a profit on it, thanks ebay) it wasn't a bad game but it just didn't excite me like i wanted it too.

It may depend on what stage of the game you are at. From memory my didn't turn up until I had a car that was street spec as the Mini and bmw and full stocked street spec . There was the trouble with the servers too which delayed the dlc roll out ...

I must admit that it took me awhile to get into the game too . When the story moved down south and the cars improved I really got into the game then

So is this worth a buy? Are the issues being fixed up. Loved the look of it early but the reviews are making me question buying it. Definitely need a new game though.

I like it. A lot of reviews complain about the microtransactions but I haven't come across anything yet.

Think it's pretty cheap now so it wouldn't be a huge issue if you're not that into it.

Cheers, yeah I think I might just do it, like I said really really loved the look of it before it launched so who knows I might still enjoy it.
