Even taking into acount the innings by Marsh & Smith, AB has been the most assured batsman in the match so far. Some of his shots, like to one off Johnson, were just brilliant.
 
There's only one AB and he didn't play for the Proteas. Time to send this imposter packing early. :-)

Yeah, we just need to bat well through until the end of the day. Get there and we're close enough to 400 ahead and from there we can judge how far to bat into day 4.

If Doolan makes a 50 will he be dropped for that powder puff Shane 'Xavier Ellis' Watson?

If I see Watson in the 2nd test, it'll make me sick. Only one guy can pull off shoulder length blond hair, and that is Schoey....

No i can't however, the effect of Johnno should not be underestimated. England and now the apartite proteas who are looking like panzies.......

After the 2nd dropped catch off Warner, Mark Nicholls asked 'will South Africa pay for that?" It was late at night admittedly, but I had to ask (only partly in jest) 'were they paid for that', or 'will they be"? Given the rest of their team's effort (especially the fielding), you wonder if the ghost of Hansie ain't in attendance.

Have got to say also, the ABC call has been great as usual. Whoever was calling the Johnson to Smith ball, it was sheer poetry. Retired SA great but called it beautifully.

I think it was Peter Kirsten. And I have to agree, the ABC call is fantastic.
