Bad luck to anyone who missed seeing that...it was amazing. Any idea when it's going to be released in HD??
The expectations on this film are unrealistically high. From the shorts it looks like a decent film, but the hype surrounding it is ridiculous.
Heath looks like he did an amazing job, but it takes more than one crazy character to make a good film. IMO they'll be doing well to better Batman Returns, which was an above average flick.
Reminds me of all the hype surrounding the final Star Wars sequel film, which was a decent film but ultimately didn't live up to the frenzied bullshit before its release.
Anyone who goes into it needs to remind themselves it is just another Batman movie, those who don't will come out disappointed I think.

Indeed. I'm being careful to try to keep a lid on it, however, I imagine that at worst it's going to be as good as Batman Begins with less of a slow start.

I loved Batman Begins, every single second. However, upon rewatching a few times I discovered that the second part where he actually is Batman (except with a darker, grittier take compared to the other movies) was the more enjoyable part. Each to their own of course.
