Surely, any hoops fan who has a heart would want the Celts to land a top two pick, if not the first pick this year, after all the bad luck we've had over the years, esp this year losing the great Red Auerbach and DJ.
I would be totally gutted if the ping pongs didn't fall our way after the season we've had.

why would any opposing fan give a fat rats clacker about the celtics?

imagine if the bucks get the no 1 pick and get oden. could it make bogut dispensible? id like to think they could go twin towers, but you never know. the bucks have simmonds coming back to help redd and mo williams on the outside, with bell and ruben on the wings. unless the deal is a no brainer, bogut could be used as trade bait!

You know what pisses me of to the nth degree?!

Every team in the lottery has sat their better players and tanked big time. Look at Boston with Pierce, Minny with KG, Bucks with Redd, Bogut and Charlie V, etc... but only ****ing Kings go into every game trying to get their best line up on the floor.

Instead of giving Miller, Artest, Bibby and Martin the rest of the year off, nuff nuff Musslehead is playing Miller with a bad foot just so he can get a couple of extra Ws and try to save his job.

FFS, get those vets out of the team and give youngsters game time and some development time for next season and in the process place yourself for a better chance in the lottery.

The way Kings have been run lately is a ****ing joke

true, kings are a joke atm.

its sad to see tanking happening in the nba. we see it in the afl (although many disagree).

But don't most of the teams who are seen to be tanking need help?

It's not like Boston and Memphis set out to to be in this position, losing Pierce and Gasol in sides like that leaves massive holes that can't be plugged up.

Yeah if the Bucks got Oden I think they would definately trade Bogut. This is from Steve Kerr:

Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks might have more talent than any team in the lottery. Assuming they're healthy next season, they could be right back in the thick of things, particularly if they add a stud in the draft. New coach Larry Krystkowiak has made defense a priority, so look for Milwaukee to draft accordingly. Corey Brewer would give the Bucks a versatile defender on the perimeter. Joakim Noah would provide much-needed toughness and energy on the frontline. If Milwaukee gets the No. 1 pick, then Oden is the obvious choice, with Andrew Bogut perhaps being shipped off for perimeter help. No matter where they pick, though, the Bucks will have plenty of options given the talent on the roster.

Personally I would like to see Andrew leave Milwaukee regardless of whether they Oden or not. He is not being fully utilised in that team/system. Redd hogs the ball to much, and Bogut is pretty much only being used to set high screens for the perimiter shooters. Its a waste of his talents...

Hey if Bucks want some defensive help on the permimeter give Goeff Petrie a call. I reckon he would trade them Artest for their first pick and a salary filler or a sign and trade for Mo Williams.

give them bibby for free as well.

Bogut to the Lakers (I don't know how it would work..) would be nice in the triangle.
