The Eagles Nest

Sorry if there's another thread on this - but from my 11th floor perch I've watched the construction of the new Perth stadium with ever increasing glee. Going to elevate watching the mighty eagles onto another hemisphere. Yesterday they were testing the screens, they are effing HUGE!!

Most importantly, in the ultimate troll of our poor long suffering cousins down the road - the colour scheme and texture of the outside design makes the whole thing looks like an actual Eagles Nest. Has a nice ring to it..

Nice! No doubt someone would cry about that name though unfortunately - "Burswood? More like Berchtesgaden"

I agree the stadium is starting to look absolutely mint. Hopefully no lead in the water to delay the opening of this project!
