Thought I'd start a thread for the first time. I am excited, but then again the last 30 years have been tough. I think Eddie Murphy's line in 48 hours sums Richmond supporters up pretty well....."if the wind blows I get a hard on"...... But
Further to IDGAF'S 4 quarters thread I was thinking that I couldn't pick a game that matched yesterday's 4 qtr intensity in the last 20 years. Taking this further I can't remember a more promising start to a season. And yes we have been higher up the ladder at this stage, but I have never seen jus play with such consistency. We have been in every game in the last qtr. it's just been the 15-20 min lapses that have cost us wins. Our percentage shows us that our losses are small and our wins big. I have never seen this before. Hopefully yesterday will give the guys the confidence to keep it going. Let's not forget who we have played as well.
Can anyone remember a start to a season where we have been this consistent? I would think 95 iirc we started 7-0 but even then we hadn't played the top two teams (Carlton or Geelong) during that stretch.
Go Tiges!
