In all fairness some of the turn around's and travel yes I agree have been strange and harsh to (some clubs)
But I am not sure how the AFL could have done better considering the Covid-19

Personally I am surprised we have some kind of footy this year.

They could have made things more difficult for Richmond. Their draw is out of kilter with everyone else's.

You give the hardest fixture to the team that won the flag. That isn't even close to having happened this year. If anything Richmond have had one of the easiest fixtures after winning a flag and up until today there was zero in the media about it.

It's even more perplexing given the AFL have concocted the draw on the run so had ample opportunity to redress the imbalance.

Overall, it is what it is. If we push deep into finals then Bucks, the footy department, and the players will be deserving of more adulation than they'll likely get across these boards if we don't go all the way.

The problem is this fixture makes it hard for us to go deep in the finals because getting into the top 4 is so important.

Nah. Week 1 of finals it all starts from scratch, even more so given the topsy-turvy nature of the H&A season. Any team that makes the 8 will be in with a show.

I agree with that mate, but it is the double chance which does make a difference and for us it might take time for Jordy for instance to get back into form and will probably be too late.

The key is to be lucky enough to keep you team healthy. JDG will be fit and it'll just be the touch that he might be lacking, a bit like against the Doggies earlier this year.
