got 6/8 this weekend, stuffed up with adel & wce, anyone manage an 8/8?
i know im early but geez next round is a tough one also.

Saints VS Pies ( if presti plays ill follow my heart. )
Roos VS Eagles( tough one both teams havent won a game, thinking eagles in a close one. but not sure, will see if the french fella is back )
Port VS Lions ( both teams are 2-0. might go with Port at home, but then the way JBrown played makes you wonder )
Carl VS Ess ( ill go bombers, have the wood over them )
Syd VS Rich ( Swans all the way )
Melb VS Adel ( Crows )
Wb VS Haws ( Another tough one, dogs just )
Freo VS Gee ( Cats in a close one also )

any thoughts??

carlton(cant see the Bombers getting up with Lloyd and Lucas gone)

Melbourne(leaning towards them atm , might change)

Freo (Cats will be very sore after today and should lose Scarlett)

Thought I might revive this thread. I'm not confident about us tomorrow night. While I want us to win, from a footy tipping perspective it seems like a big risk tipping us given the last 5-6 results, regardless of Buddy being out. Thoughts?

I've tipped us, even gone with collingwood in a couple of bets, I wouldn't be surprised though if hawks win due to the hoodoo but tomorrow will be as good a game as any for us to win - no buddy, struggling backs and crappest rucks in the league. If we don't beat them tomorrow than I don't know when we could.

Im doing shit this year so far was ranked 14th last year in round 8 in the herald sun comp now im s t rugglin.

my tips for round 4 are:

west coast
swans
adelaide
collingwood
bulldogs
melbourne
cats
saints.

can i get some opinions, please?

Same tips as mine, I'm not doing the greatest though either. The ones that could go either way are WB/Bris, Coll/Hawks and Adel/Carl. WB should win, far superior midfield and Lake will do really well against Brown. Adelaide need to win - they are playing at home, if they fall to 0-4 there are some real problems. I went with collingwood just hoping we break our hoodoo, if we don't this week then I hope we don't face them in the finals when they will probably have a stronger side.
Pretty good tips - I think we will get 7...hopefully.

i got tis hinting feeling i should go with carlton over adelaide..
burton is not 100% fit so thats a risk playing him and dangerfield
and judd will help carltons midfield
also bock isnt in, so i might tip carlton. ill leave it for now though.

Just think adelaide will get up otherwise their season is slipping away, carlton have a strong midfield but any forward line that needs setanta to fire is going to lose tight games imo.
