Vonn's going to love me for it but aside from her hormones running wild this article on our own website makes some excellent points.

In the run home last year we were all gushing over Hanners, O'Dwyer Smith, Thornton and in short bursts we were falling in love with Veszpremi
But it was Meredith who broke into the team early before our midfield injuries and our lets play the kids attitude.
He looked good when he was involved, certainly able to read the play naturally and had a very, very nice kick to go with a football brain to know where to put it. Perhaps needed another pre season to really be able to play intensely throughout the game at the highest level he looked good.
In the third term against the Haws in his debut, in the loss against the lions in the wet and down at the cattery early he was looking very good and won some hard ball. It would be fair to say he never saw the games out but showed plenty to like.
Injuries a bitch as the broken arm he got in his game back in the Ressies and shoulder opp put him out of our memories like the Girlfriend we left in Australia while we wandered around Sweeden and Norway... Before that he was the leader of the baby pack.
Currently were all talking names like Hannerbery, Jetta, Rohan, O'Dwyer, McNeal, Dennis-Lane even Johnston and Currie.
But based on what we witnessed when he had the opportunity last year there is every chance where going to see this kid Meredith make an impact this year and re emerge ahead of some of the young names we currently have at the front of our minds.
OK Vonn.... happy now.
